#27TheDominator
With the way we have been seeing injuries lately, I would activate him and let him see the field on Sunday. I will be a very short week afterwards so You never know who will be knicked up. IMO this is the only reason they wouldn't activate him. Too many injuries at WR and RB and they are already carrying a boatload of CBs. Meanwhile, they only have 2 safeties and one has only been with the team a couple of weeks and they started Marcus WIlliams over him with expected results. I would guess that if Mangold is better they could dump Johnson or Dozier, but they may want to bring up a safety and they have Martin and Miles who they could promote. Martin was active earlier in the year, but didn't see any defensive snaps. They already made the obvious moves waiving and IR'ing Jarrett and Owusu. afosomf
McDougle and Skrine are both banged up, and no matter what Cro says, he's definitely not healthy. Just not sure who they'd cut to get a 7th CB on the roster. still stinging from Lady Dame whooping Bama put on you, Dee M was on that team, I get it now lmao

Just not sure who they'd cut to get a 7th CB on the roster. Any CB on the roster not named Revis, Cro or Skrine and the team wouldn't skip a beat. I'll give your boy Walls the slight edge over Williams and McDougle because he has actually showed up on specials.

Coaching staff loves Williams. I don't see them cutting any of them, though. Maybe an OL or DL instead. Those are relatively healthy positions, especially if Mangold plays this weekend. flgreen
How times have changed. Milliner was drafted to replace Revis, now he can't replace McDougle
#27TheDominator
I think Milliner is much better than you guys credit him. Carl is correct about Williams. The coaches seem to love him. He gets way more run than the others and did even when they were healthy. I know that Carl likes Walls, but based on defensive snaps, they don't like him that much. Walls has only played two. I know that he has been injured, but if he is healthy enough to play specials... For comparison purposes, McDougle has 31 defensive snaps and WIlliams 118, though a good chunk (he played 60 defensive) were at safety last week. This might not be the weekend Dee gets activated, as Dom already mentioned this team is in dire need of a safety, so that's a position they could bring up over Milliner. But every single team in the league is in need of quality starting CBs, so I expect Milliner up sooner rather than later. I like Williams in his 4th or 5th CB role, but sweet lord never let him play safety again; he doesn't have the experience and it showed with his hesitation causing him to miss a half-dozen tackles. I could see one of the OL or DL getting dropped, it's just hard to see Dee on the sidelines when our team has been gashed through the air the last two weeks. And unless Laurenzo becomes prime Shawne Merriman overnight, our pass rush is still abysmal and the only thing we're capable of doing is bolstering the back end. Shadetree
Yes, BroadwayJoe12, the pass rush is dog sh*t....been our problem for a few years now. Without any prospects for the near-future, too regarding milliner...I like mcdougal better, but I wouldn't mine seeing milliner in there..and I can't stand milliner as a player-that's how awful Cro looks.
