Pretty cool that he might be in the wound care center next Friday getting the same treatment I did a few months ago for my right hand. I've been disabled for a while. Coach Todd Bowles said Friday he expects Fitzpatrick to be ready to face the Texans Week 11. Geno Smith would start if Fitzpatrick is not cleared in time. He wouldn't have had the surgery unless he thought he'd be ready. For everything I've read it has nothing to do with actual recovery from the surgery but if the stitches will be able to be taken out by then. He'll be fine and he'll carve up a porous Houston team.
