The plan is for Ryan Fitzpatrick to play in New York's next game vs. the Texans on Nov. 22 despite undergoing surgery on his nonthrowing thumb this morning, according to coach Todd Bowles. Fitzpatrick was under center for the Jets' 22-17 loss to the Bills on Thursday.

According to his wound care doctors at Morristown Medical Center (they are my doctors for my feet) his surgery was a complete success. Pretty cool that he might be in the wound care center next Friday getting the same treatment I did a few months ago for my right hand.

I've been disabled for a while.

Get ready for Geno Smith no way in hell sh*tzpatrick is cleared to play.

He wouldn't have had the surgery unless he thought he'd be ready. For everything I've read it has nothing to do with actual recovery from the surgery but if the stitches will be able to be taken out by then. He'll be fine and he'll carve up a porous Houston team.

No not wishing ill will on anyone just stating my OPINION surgery no practice, game in 10 days no way he plays.

You are pathetic for thinking the way you do.

Thinking we should play our best QB if he's cleared medically?

In fact our ONLY QB until Bryce is ready...
