HC is a rookie.....and was a DC.......OC has been in the league for years.....remember when we were 4 and 1?...the one lose is because our players in that game gave it away literally.....then came the Pats game......a dropped pass by Cumberland in the end zone, then a dropped pass in the end zone by Marshall.....since then we have not been the same team.....couple it with Colon going down, and Mangold being on-off due to injury our running game has evaporated.....ok, this is when HC coaching comes into play, you see the HC making some desperate moves going for it on 4th downs....the guy is a rookie...but there is zero excuse for the OC. and zero excuse for our WR dropping balls like they are getting paid to drop balls!...there is zero excuse for our D not to even show up in Oak. There is zero excuse for 12 men on the field on D....this is now all on the HC...its called you need to fire up the team, that is his job....it starts today....and come sunday against the Fins, the team needs to play like its do or die....that's it, every week has got to be that way.....

The Jets may or may not have the worst coaching Staff in the NFL, but it's a certainty that the Team has the worst fan base in the league. A bunch of fair weather fans who don't cheer when the team is doing well but can't wait to boo and critique at the 1st mishap.

fair weather fans??? Are you serious with that? Certainly a very frustrated fan base (with every right to be)

but the Jets have one of the most loyal fan bases in all of sports.

" Love means never having to say you're sorry". When you "Love" something, you love it regardless of it's flaws. You point out their flaws supportively, but you love them .  IMO, this fan base sits around waiting for the next mistake so they can say how the new team compares to the old team.

after everything Jets fans have been through, it's not fair to blame the fans for being traumatized

the Jets should happy they even have fans.

Do the Washington Generals have fans?

Triple team Watt.  Help Wesley Johnson up the middle.  Keep a back in the block.  Then use the five WR's to flood the Texans secondary.  Simple!

Watt may be the most difficult guy to run screens on in the league.  He has a tremendous wingspan and knocks down record numbers of passes.

that's not a reason for not trying the screen, all these types of plays can be run out of the same formation, which would keep the defense to guessing and reacting a bit slower, therefore diminishing the pass rush to an extent. Especially if you also go with a hurry up offense. You need to tire a quick line out and make them suck wind.

Our offense is just to easy to defend against as it pertains to play selection. Our game plan has looked exactly the same all season long so far.

The fact that it won't work is not a reason for not trying it?

Over 1/4 of the attempts were short passes to the backs.  I'm sure that there were quite a few screens. Powell had some serious success with several middle screens.

HC is the OC's boss. If he doesn't know enough to override anything, then he's in over his head so far.

We didn't give away a game because 2 players gave the game away on 2 plays. We lost because everyone else couldn't overcome 2 plays against a struggling Eagles team. We're permitted to outscore the other team even if they put some extra points on the board. Atrocious as those 2 plays were, Philadelphia still only scored 24 points.

Cumberland didn't drop a pass in the endzone against NE. I don't know what you were watching. That was blatant PI with the DB locking around Cumberland's arm and pulling.

Colon is now a huge asset? The guy so many wanted cut for the past 2 years? The guy with the big mouth calling an 0-0 team a Porsche? Screw him.

Mangold hurts, but repeatedly running directly at JJ Watt, on purpose, hurts more. It also hurts more when the QB doesn't move in the pocket until he's running forward for yardage.

The 4th down decisions are not excused because he's a rookie HC. He's been in this game his whole life. If he needs to first learn what to do staring now, we could be in trouble. We don't get spotted a touchdown because we have to play with the handicap of a learning HC. He's supposed to know this stuff cold by now.

WRs drop passes on every team. We are not unique in this regard. We're not even in the top 10 in dropped passes or drop percentage. Both undefeated teams are worse.

You are excusing Bowles for the "D not to even show up in Oak" when that is his one thing that qualified him for the job.

12 men on the field does happen with other teams, now and then, but it's clearly on the coaching. If it was happening every game - or even every other game - I'd be more concerned about it. There's never a good time for it.

Bowles vs Rex 0-1. Soon to be 0-2. There's no way the jets are winning in Buffalo in January.

Rex wasn't that bad of a coach. You all were screaming for his head, but he actually was the best coach in team history since Parcells. He's got the most playoff victories of any Jets HC ever.  He had multiple teams fighting over him the minute he was fired.

there were many problems with last year's team, the head coach wasn't a problem. He was an asset.

LOL

There is always something...always. Since the Pats game we have not been the same...because every other team has seen the script and has played us the same.....Cumberland is a huge guy, and plays soft...your right about the PI in the endzone but he should have caught it and there was another pass to him in that game that he wiffed on as well...
