UnitedWhofans
Wont be playing in the rain at Dallas next week either. The Cowboys look like they hate weather, a product of playing in a dome I guess. Maybe, but they are 1-5 at home. 3-4 on the road.

The Cowboys look like they hate weather, a product of playing in a dome I guess. I thought they played really well for 3 and a half quarters. Contained Rodgers effectively. Green Bay had almost 40 minutes of possession, and those touchdowns at the end were due to fatigue. Defense never got off the field.

BUM-KNEE
So....... Per Rotoworld, Coach Jason Garrett confirmed Monday that the Cowboys will stick with Matt Cassel at quarterback in Week 15 against the Jets. It's probably going to get ugly (again) for Cassel against a Jets defense that's shut down Eli Manning and Marcus Mariota in back-to-back weeks. Dallas' alternative would be practice squad-type Kellen Moore. Through six starts, Cassel has a 1-5 record. He has completed 59.2 percent of his passes with a 6.3 yards-per-attempt average and a TD-to-INT ratio of 5:6.
UnitedWhofans
The more I look at this game, the more I see a bad matchup for the Cowboys. With Cassel at QB, they want to run the football, they did that to an extent against Green Bay. Jets have the #1 rushing defense in the NFL. The Cowboys have Dez Bryant, a star receiver. Jets have Darrelle Revis back, plus I look to the Giants game, where outside of one major breakdown, they contained OBJ, the best WR in the NFL. And that was without Revis. We saw the Packers rip up the Cowboys on the ground with Lacy and Starks, two hard nosed running backs that are hard to bring down. Chris Ivory is the same style of runner as those two. Cowboys are very aggressive on their blitzes. The Jets, this year, have used a lot of great screens, which can counteract that. It's getting very hard for me to see how the Jets lose this game, without the Jets screwing up in some fashion

BUM-KNEE
Dez is still a little dinged up too. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed the team will not shut down Dez Bryant (foot, knee). Bryant has not been himself after coming back quickly from a foot injury, but Jones completely dismissed the idea of shutting him down. "No, not at all," Jerry said. "We'll go balls out with Dez." Elegant as always. Even though Dallas is not shutting Dez down, owners still in the fantasy playoffs should strongly consider it. Bryant has scored two touchdowns total and topped 65 yards once this season.
Beerfish
Hopefully the jets learned from the houston game. Do not let their best players beat you. Cover dez like a blanket cover witten even better and take hardy out by running and screening to his side.

Witten may be more of a challenge, but Im not looking for him to light us up with Cassel at QB. Cole Beasley might make some noise.

We need to use the same formula as we did against Tenn..start fast and pound the rock late. Beasley and lucky scare me a bit but I just think Cassell is terrible. They mentioned this during the game, the cowboys issues run deeper than the qb situation..
chirorob
They play good defense these days. Hardy and Lee are among the best in the league right now. Hardy has not played well last 4-5 games. Lee, when healthy, is a great football player.
jetscrazey
Jets just need to not turn it over. It's that simple. As long as we don't lose the field position battle, I don't think Cassel stands a chance against a Jets D that all of a sudden looks to be fully healthy and seems to be figuring out how to use its personnel the right way. The key will be stopping Witten. In man coverages, maybe he's the guy they bracket and then put Revis one-on-one with Dez and Cro on Terence Williams? Skrine will probably take Cole Beasley. I think we'll see a fair amount of DB zone blitzes to keep Cassel guessing too.

prime21
A road game into Jerry's world in Primetime will be a challenge for our team. I think we will be up for it but we need to start strong and the defense needs to set the tone early.
ScarletKnight89
They can be run on and they can be passed on. Look for the Jets to pound Ivory heavy and setup some play action passes down the field. Without Romo they can't throw the football at all. The Jets need to crowd the box and stop the run. Force the Cowboys into obvious passing situations. If they stop run successfully which they probably will, they shouldn't have much of a problem on defense stopping the Cowboys. I'd even roll coverage towards Dez and put Revis on their number 2 receiver. This is a game the Jets have no business losing, it least not if they consider themselves a playoff team. The Cowboys are just a name, they aren't a good football team. Not this year. The only way we lose is a Fitz implosion or if we turn the ball over multiple times. We're just better. Joe Jets fan
This is a perfect example of a trap game. Playing a crap team with a crap QB on the road with NE next up. JetBlue
This is a team that the Jets should handle with ease and win by double digit points. The Cowboys can protect the quarterback and rush the passer, passed that there is nothing that will concern the Jets. They will be playing in Dallas, who have really nothing to lose, in front of a national audience. Nothing ever comes easy for the Jets...

ljr
Double Dez with Revis and a safety and put Cro or Williams on Witten. so you want to give Revis the help on the pass catcher with 30 catches for 350 yds but leave Cro to fend for himself on the pass catcher with 65 catches for 600 yds ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? BUM-KNEE
Per Rotoworld, Cowboys signed CB Terrance Mitchell from their practice squad. Mitchell was waived by the Bears in November before being signed to the practice squad earlier this month. With Tylor Patmon cut and Morris Claiborne (hamstring) doubtful, Mitchell could play significant snaps against the Jets' spread attack. Eric Decker should have a field day.
