A Ferrari is never the same after crashing and wrecking its axel.

Highly sensitive instruments of speed are fragile: Devin Smith has now most likely lost the speed (because it wasn't the size, hands, or routes that got him drafted) which was his only natural talent &'advantage he had to compete in the NFL. Here's to being wrong.

I had a lot of hope he would be a dynamic weapon but he did not show anything this season that says he belongs in the nfl.He constantly let db's get into better position on the deep ball and that was supposed to be his calling card. Now that he has torn his acl he will probably loose some speed and will loose that as well. Wish the kid all the luck in the world but he is not a future wr star for this team or any other.

Two things as a young guy coming into the league you can't do,

Turn over the ball and get hurt.

Milliner, Amaro, McDougall, Smith...thanks MacIdzik!

You should have posted this earlier.  It probably would have been helpful to tell them that getting injured isnt a good thing. B)

"Another thing for athletes to keep in mind is that most NFL players who sustain an injury to their ACL do typically return to play again in the NFL, however a research study from the American Journal of Sports Medicine has shown that most athletes return with diminished performance on the field."

Unless you're a cyborg like Adrian Peterson.
