jetfan39
Bills have announced the Rex and his GM are coming back next year; is that the kiss of death? Do some of his players loose interest in winning one last one for Rex? i was thinking the same thing when I read that he was coming back next year. Do some of his players loose interest in winning one last one for Rex? Probably. Now Rex can't use his clearing out the office act and blubbering that the writers say he's fired. jetrider
i was thinking the same thing when I read that he was coming back next year. It would've been outlandish to let him go after one year. Even Kotite got two chances.
CaliforniaJet
The game will be on TV for me, that's two weeks in a row the Jets play here on TV. Sweeeeeet! Don't need to be at the bar at 10AM this week after the new years recovery.

jetrider
It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see how it works out for them! It's no strategy, Harebrain. The Pegulas (new owners) are at least professional enough to question themselves and the entire operation before throwing the new HC under the bus. They'll give stability a chance first. jetrider
And that 2nd chance really worked out well! Not for Kotite but for the Jets it did. We wouldn't have gotten Tuna a year sooner and if Kotite was replaced in '96 by someone else we might've missed out on Tuna altogether.
