Was This Season A Not-Obvious Disaster?

2 seasons ago Geno was a rookie QB and the team was 8-8 did you mean last season??

We were outscored by 90+ points overall in each of the past 3 seasons. Basically, until this season, we hadn't looked like a pro team since we were 8-5 in 2011. From the start of that year's collapse until Macc and Bowles arrived, we were a complete embarrassment.

This year was a nice change.

This year we graduated from embarrassing to good. To get from good to great, we need to make the playoffs.

To get from good to great, we need to rebuild our LB unit, figure out what we're paying the D-Line, proactively improve at OT, and find a little dynamism at RB. Not to mention figuring out who the QB of the future is that Fitz is building a "bridge" to.

Simply making the playoffs does not take us from good to great. We need to position ourselves to be a perennial contender and one capable of winning the division.

This is so important.  We have improved a great deal this year we just have to continue to improve.

Once again, we courageously battled for 9-10 wins and avoided the tyranny of a good draft position.

The wild card game is our super bowl.  First round byes and home field advantage is for sissies.

The draft is such a crap shot.   Where did we draft Wilk?    Where did we draft Gholston and Milliner?

There aren't any "Great" teams in the NFL anymore. Just get to "very good" & you've got a chance. Speed up the LBs, lower DBricks cap number, resign Snacks & Powell, sign 3 free agents, vet WR Marvin Jones, LB Danny Trevathon & punter Shane Lechler (not huge FA signings, but huge veteran experience & leadership get Amaro & Milliner healthy, trade Mo for picks, use the picks on LB, RB, OT & hopefully fast (Lockett type) for special teams.
