section314
Really think Suzie Kolber and Namath should host a pre-game show. That I'd watch.
T0mShane
ESPN Exec: Hey, Keyshawn, watch Ray Lewis here in his colorful suit and funny hat doing a little dance that Steve, Trent, and Steve can point and laugh at! It's TV gold in Middle America! Just let us put this funny hat on you! Ratings, Keyshawn! Ratings!
Bugg
if they really wanted to put on a guy who knows his stuff and isn't shy with his opinions, Mike Westhoff would be the choice.

T0mShane
Yet Cris Carter is still employed. my favorite is when he breaks into those speeches about player responsibility and fails to mention that his son thug-lifed himself all the way to Canada. Klecko73isGod
If ESPN really wants to shake things up they need to dump that load Chris Berman. His schtick is tired and boring. He speaks in grunts and word fragments and he's annoying as ****. It's not like it would be unprecedented. ESPN unceremoniously dumped Jon Miller and Joe Morgan (stupidly) from Sunday night baseball because it wasn't pulling the ratings.

Or that the real reason Buddy Ryan booted him from Philly is because he couldn't stop smoking crack.

greenwichjetfan
Agreed with a lot here. Berman, Heath Evans, and Michael Irvin are absolutely unbearable. Key was "aiight". Not great, not bad. If the report is true and they're thinking of bringing in Charles Woodson, it'll be worth it. That guy is goooooooood.
the Claw
All of these guys are unbearable. In particular, I hate the players that try make themselves sound more educated than they are.
drdetroit
All of these guys are unbearable. In particular, I hate the players that try make themselves sound more educated than they are. most of the ex-players are horrible. If they really wanted to be entertaining they'd hire Lawrence Taylor and have OJ Simpson and Aaron Hernandez live via satellite from prison
