They're young with potential. Fitz is a well-traveled 33 year old journeyman with physical limitations. You're not building your team around him. Good for Mac not caving in. He set records for our club, yes. But he didn't light the league on fire. He was a solid player, and a great chemistry fit for our locker room. But he's also the kind of player that is going to run head first into a MLB and break a collarbone. We can't afford to spend big on a high risk investment, when the returns are what they are; he's a ten-win QB who needs a strong support cast to win games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk they came to the jets knowing they need a qb. nothing has changed. in terms of predicting their 1st round pick, if you believe mccags' philosophy holds true, they won't take OL or RB. wr is not a big need now, neither is DL. they loaded up on secondary help last FA and if milliner gives anything, they're good there. that leaves qb and olb as the main targets in the first.
