Lol nice retort. You have the best words. Bigly.

BTW, the next poster on this website who actually likes you will be the first, junk.

#1 I am not here to be liked, I am liked in real life.  I don't have insecurity issues like some folks.

#2 there are plenty of people that "like" me.  don't be confused w/ the vocal bottom of the barrel posters like yourself who like to attack those that bring more to the board than they do and instead of having productive discussions they like to "protest/riot" and try to shut down anyone who disagrees w/ their misguided views.

It is likely that every single sentence written here is total bullsh*t. Bigly. Yuge.

When UNC loses it's because they "played poorly" but they're always awesome no matter what.

When another team loses, it's because they're not a good team.

When another team wins a national title, it was due to the refs.

And actually attending a school you root for doesn't matter.  There's no difference at all.  In fact, some people have a "special connection" with a school despite not attending.

Must be fun living in junc's world.  He's never wrong and almost everybody, actually, likes him despite all evidence to the contrary.  Just look at all the people who respond when he talks to himself about UNC and rips on any other school that gets mentioned.  Such a fun, lively thread guys.

please show examples of where I say what you wrote in those first 2 sentences?

the refs did decide the last 2 Nat'l title games, that's clear to anyone who watched them.

I try to be nice to you but you are such a douche those days are over.

I am the ONLY reason this thread has any activity, clowns like you only come here to bash my team.

Refs made that happen.

they absolutely did, if the game was officiated fairly Carolina wins by double digits.  the officials determined the outcome and gave 'Nova a free chancwe to win it and Jenkins hit the shot.  credit 'Nova for a great final play but it's one they never should have had.  from start to finish 'Nova could do what they wanted on D and they called nothing but touch fouls on Carolina.  Carolina had 15 MORE attempts from the field and shot 4 LESS FTs than 'Nova and it wasn't just about the FTs, it was all game long nova being allowed to play by different rules where they could hack Carolina and Carolina would be whistled for nothing but touch fouls.

That's pretty Sad!  Even coming from an Alex Jones sympathizer.

I have never heard Alex Jones speak, I have heard of him but don't know a thing about him.  I think for myself unlike you.  you know nova stole one, it's ok to admit but something tells me if "nova lost the way Carolina lost you'd be our "protesting"/rioting and shouting "not my National Champion!",  I feel bad for people who cannot think for themselves and think by joining a crowd/mob it makes them feel special since people in their lives don't give them that attention they crave.

Monk killed us.  He literally went into unstoppable mode.  Shame, the Gators game out strong.

We miss Big John.  Got killed on the boards.

I still think we're in good shape.  We're one of the most complete teams in the league.  Big John hurts but I'm excited for the Tourney.

Good bounce back games for my boys on Senior night vs. a very good Arkansas team.

Scary moment and I havent heard any news on it yet, KeVaughn Allen went down grabbing either his calf or ankle after a lay up in the 2nd half.  Not good.  If he's out, kiss any noise the Gators were going to make goodbye.  They cant live without their best big man and their best player/scorer.

I've always been a St. Johns first guy, but I went to Nova's camp twice, so I am adopting them, lol.

It was so nice to see them use multliple defenses, 2-3, man, full court pressure, 3/4 court pressure, then they threw it into a big man in the low post and he shot a turn around hook shot!

I'm in love.

I don't like duke at all this year, I think they will get bounced early (for them)

Fun game for sure...when Berry is on like that, UNC is a tough out.

it's the best rivalry in American sports but for me it's pure agony.  winning is just relief, losing is torture.  seeing the rat and his dirty players happy always irritates me.

duke goes out early quite often, we don't hear about it much but basically since 1995 they have rarely played up to their seed.

expectation by seed:

1- FF

2- Elite 8

3-4 Sweet 16

5-8 2nd round

9-16- 1st round

1995- missed tourney

1996-lost rd 1 as 8 seed.  -1

1997- lost 2nd rd as 2 seed. -2

1998- lost EE as 1 seed. -1

1999- lost title game as 1 seed. +1

2000- lost S16 as 1 seed. -2

2001- won Nat'l title. +2

2002- lost S16 as 1 seed. -2

2003- lost S16 as 3 seed.

2004- lost FF as 1 seed

2005- lost S16 as 1 seed. -2

2006: lost S16 as 1 seed. -2

2007: lost 1st rd as 6 seed. -1

2008: lost 2nd rd as 2 seed. -2

2009: lost S16 as 2 seed. -1

2010: won nat'l title. +2

2011: lost S16 as 1 seed. -1

2012: lost 1st rd as 2 seed. -3

2013: lost E8 as 2 seed.

2014: lost 1st rd as 3 seed. -2

2015: won nat'l title. +2

2016: lost S16 as 4 seed.

Overall they are -15 from 1995-2016

let's look at Carolina:

1995: made FF as 2 seed. +1

1996: lost 2nd rd as 6 seed

1997: made FF as 1 seed

1998: made FF as 1 seed

1999: lost 1st rd as 3 seed. -2

2000: made FF as 8 seed. +3

2001: lost 2nd rd as 2 seed. -2

2002: did not make it

2003: did not make it

2004: lost 2nd rd as 6 seed.

2005: won Nat'l title. +2

2006: lost 2nd rd as 3 seed. -1

2007: lost E8 as 1 seed. -1

2008: lost FF as 1 seed

2009: won nat'l title. +2

2010: did not make it

2011: lost E8 as 2 seed

2012: lost E8 as 1 seed. -1

2013: lost 2nd rd as 8 seed

2014: lost 2nd rd as 6 seed

2015: lost S16 as 4 seed

2016: lost title game as 1 seed. +1

Overall they are even from 1995-2016

that is how he was playing in the beginning of the year, he had an injury and missed a few games, had an illness and was really good at times but disappeared sometimes too.  if the Heels get that berry and that Hicks they will be tough to beat in the Tourney.

Congrats buddy!

I was actually thinking about you this morning when I was listening to Mike and Mike.  They had Jay Williams on and he was speaking out against the conference champs getting the auto-bid to the Tourney.  How it basically makes the regular season worthless and it all comes to down to 3 games in stead of the 20 they played over a 3 month period.  It was a good argument and he felt the conference champs should be guaranteed the NIT but not the Tourney but that kind of screws those mid-majors who get in when they win. And then I thought, oh sh*t, what if the 80's boy lost after such a nice little season.  And then I thought, I spend too much time on JN if I'm thinking about 80 on my way into work.

It's a silly argument because there's no pragmatic way to change the system.  Even the Ivy League succumbed to having a Conference Tournament this year.  There's too much money involved in having a conference tournament not to make it important.

And what Jay Williams fails to realize is that the regular season DOES matter even under this format.  Positioning yourself for the league tourney is crucial.  Some leagues have the # 1 seed host the tournament.  Other leagues have a "double bye" system where the top 1 or 2 teams end up in the Semi-Finals by default.  In the CAA, the top 6 (out of 10) teams get a 1st round "bye", and if you're the # 1 seed, your matchups can look a lot better than if you're the # 2.

It'd be like settling the NCAA Champion based on who gets ranked 1st at the end of the year, and not having a tournament.  Sure, it would likely make the top team be the national champ.  And as we know, the supposed "best team" doesn't even make it to the Final 4 some years.  But that's what makes tournaments great, and particuarly, what makes college basketball great.  Unlike college football, every single team that's in a conference is theoretically in the running to win the national title.

I didnt listen to the debate after the comment, so I dont know what Golic and Greenie had to say.  I had to run into work but when you just here the statement and dont factor in all the things you've mentioned, it made sense.  Problem is everything else you mentioned.  Mostly, $$$$$$$$$$.
