history.  you know you are the gold standard when you break you own programs record, lol

I think they are going for 100, nice round number.  then geno should play his bench for a game, maybe even just 4 players, to make it interesting

I don't understand how beating every team by 40 is entertaining. they get all the top talent so they should win every game, it's not like other sports where talent is spread out.  Tennessee at least used to keep it close but now there's no one.

another good weekend in the ACC, the Heels cooled off red hot Florida State and Louisville gave duke another loss.  It's way too early to bury duke but I am enjoying this while I can.  There's too much talent to count them out and K will be back at some point(probably).  The heels are playing well, quick turnaround w/ Syracuse in Chapel Hill tonight.  The ACC is really tough so no time for a letdown.

another nice win for the Heels.  quick turnaround after an emotional game on saturday and SU shot the lights out in the 2nd half yet the Heels won by 17 as Roy Williams became the 2nd fastest to reach 800 wins just behind Adolph Rupp and moving past Dean Smith on the fastest to 800 list.  He's one of the all time greats yet doesn't get half the respect he deserves.

I am not counting duke out but so far I am really enjoying their season and Grayson Allen is going to be suspended for a while at some point.  once they take it out of K's hands and the ACC/NCAA steps in.  yet another incident from him last night.

FSU is for real, the Heels face them this weekend but first they have to go on the road to face Wake, the last time they faced a mediocre/bad team on the road in ACC play they lost so hopefully they continue their play from Sunday.

I watched Duke-Louisville last weekend, first time watching both this year.

I don't dislike Duke, but the Grayson dude is dangerous. That team isn't fun to watch.

At one point there was extracurricular contact with #23 of Louisville going for a loose ball, and then Grayson stood over the kid. His teammates had to stand between him and any potential altercation several times. Later going for a loose ball, Grayson arm-barred #45 and pulled him down, while flopping as if he got hit himself. The flop was embarrassing to watch. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Was more impressed with Louisville than Duke

that's duke basketball.  they always play that dirty way, it is how they are taught.  Grayson is the perfect duke basketball player but as much fun as this recent run has been that team will get a ;lot better and be a threat.

I didn't see the game, but that sounds nuts.  he's in a tough spot with all the scrutiny, but you have to be smarter than that

who do you like on that team ?

Devontae Cacok is incredible. Efficient around the rim, can run the floor, and rebounds like a maniac.

Denzel Ingram has balls the size of soccer balls. I don't know how he walks around campus like that. No one since Brett Blizzard has been as clutch in a Seahawk uniform.

Also love CJ Bryce and Chris Flemmings. 2 guys who can each put up 18 a game, even against higher competition.

Love this team. 19-2 and on the cusp of getting ranked in both polls on Monday. It'd be the first time in school history we get ranked in the regular season.

My boys bounced back from a 2 game skid by putting up 101 vs. LSU. Robinson had his best game of his career looking like the guy we thought we recruited.

Yeah we have no shot at jumping into the Top 25 next week even if we go 2-0 to improve to 21-2.  USC (who was getting less votes than us in both polls this week) beating # 7 UCLA hurt too.

Oh well.

not quite sure how Carolina falls 3 spots, how WVU moves up 11 spots, how Virginia moves up 3 spots, Ul moves up 7 spots, UCLA loses twice and only falls 3 spots.

I guess we can put the UNC wilmington being ranked discussion to bed for the season after getting crushed by 18 at William & Mary

coaches poll is a little better w/ the Heels still in the top 10 but some how UK loses twice and only moves down 2 spots, I get Kansas beat UK but they got crushed in their other game how do they drop 1 spot and 'Nova drops 2 when they lost a close one and also beat a top team(though it was officials aided like the Nat'l title game).  UCLA loses twice and moves down 1 spot?  duke loses to NC State at home then needs a last second shot to beat Wake on the road and they drop 4 spots, Carolina goes 1 and 1 this week and drops 4 spots.  I don't get it?

hey I got you to show up! that and a win over UVA.

24 free throw attempts to 3, it was awful yesterday but at least UVa didn't have a Nat'l title stolen from them.  Please explain how a team as aggressive defensively as 'Nova is playing 30 feet out has 2 fouls total in the 2nd half? it was a joke, not as big as the title game but still a joke.

You and your "special connection" clearly didn't watch the game.  The first half was called incredibly lopsided in favor of UVA.

Your title game tears though, are still absolutely ****in delicious.

I did miss the 1st half but I saw the 2nd half and it was a joke.

In the 2nd half 8 fouls called on UVa, 2 on 'Nova, UVa shot ZERO FTs and 'Nova 13

in the 1st half 10 on UVa and 6 on 'Nova. UVa shot 3 FTs, 'nova 11

Please tell me how the first half was called incredibly lopsided?  you are upset they only called 'Nova for 4 more fouls?

for the game:

UVa attempted 10 more shots from the field(50 to 40)

UVa attempted 18 three's to 16 for 'Nova

Uva shot 3 FTs the entire game, 'Nova shot 24

we all know how 'Nova won the title, from start to finish the officials aided them. a fairly officiated game and Carolina wins easily.  w/ all that help you still needed a miracle shot at the buzzer to win.

Ah, so you missed the first half, but you're able to speak definitively on the entire game.  Goes pretty well with your shtick generally, Mr. Special Connection.

It's pretty funny how you fancy yourself some sort of even-handed arbiter on college basketball but laughably bitch and moan about the officiating in the national championship game. You are, as everyone else who has ever posted in this thread would agree, a complete joke, Mr. Special Connection.

I saw the 2nd half, it was a  total joke.  2 fouls the entire half?  zero FTAs, again I ask what was the big problem in the 1st half when you went to the line 11 times to 3 for UVa?  Please explain?  of course you can't b/c you don't understand what you are watching if you even were watching.  nowhere can you counter what I wrote so you take shots.
