Goes to Buffalo...laughs hysterically as his QB and WR run the same route over and over and over and over and over and over again to maintain possession for 40 minutes, limiting the Jets to 17 points.

I wonder why everyone outside of Geno fans hold the entire team accountable for that horrific performance/meltdown.

3 INTs in a row in the last 3 possessions otherwise we score in 1 of those possessions we win the game

Still holding out hope there's something going on behind the scenes we don't know about.  And Macc really has no intention of signing Fitz.  Or at least not paying him more than 5mil per.

He can do that if he wants to. Like the last GM who wanted to start Geno. He might even end up sitting next to him a year from now in the Jags commissary and taking turns doing coffee runs on draft day?.

Not much to scheme against when you cant throw the long ball

Yet BB and the Pats had to rely on dropped passes by Jets receivers to stop from going 0-2 against a Fitz-led team.  Strange.

He hit Kenbrell Thomkins in the hands on a deep ball for what should've been the game-winning TD...Fitz can't throw it and catch it.

Looks like Butler knocked it out to me.......

I only wish that would have happened. But it was not impossible. To win that game. It almost happened on that play. He kept us in the game until 15 seconds left. On a day when the entire team came out flat. Most coaches will take that. Having a chance to steal a game like that. joewilly doesn't buy this at all.

You enjoy that dumbass?

No way the Geno fans weren't doing backflips when Thompkins dropped that TD pass and when Marshall dropped the would-be TD against the Pats.

The beauty of it is that the Geno fans don't have to buy it.  Mac and Bowles have to, and clearly they do.  You don't hand the starting job to a guy who isn't even under contract if you don't see what he brings.

Hit him in the hands...can't do much more than that.

It was even closer than I thought it was and a good throw. So much for not having an arm. Butler made a good play but if Thompkins had made a great play we might have won it.

Maybe if the ball was a little more direct instead of a floater things would have been different it gave the D a chance to catch up

Maybe if Geno Smith knew how to act like a professional, he wouldn't have gotten his face smashed in by his teammate and we would have had the chance to find out if he was ever going to be any good.

As it stands, he did get his face smashed in, and the team seems to have moved on from him, handing the job to Fitz in the final year of Geno's contract with two new QB's drafted since their arrival.

Ball traveled 40 yds in the air and on a dime.

Why did the Jets cut IK if it was Geno's fault?

Yeah, very good pass for sure. But there were several other 'would-be' ints where he got bailed out by the WRs.

3 possessions 0 points we should have won that game if not for the 3 INTs

And yet, Mac and Bowles prefer him over Geno.  At the end of the day, that's all I care about.
