Doubtful, I did not see any Instagram posts of him throwing to study WRs with their shirts off, which is the new definition of leadership.

LOL instead you saw a guy working on his beard and gut playing golf your leader Fitzpatrick who has won NOTHING throughout his entire career it figures losers stick together.

Watching the video now, the first 5 minutes of this video lets me know that Fitz supporters (in really anti-Geno guys) arent going to like this!

I share his opinion on Fitz. If you really turn on the tape and break down his games, he really wasn't impressive at all.

Thanks for the podcast, I've heard about half of it (will finish the rest this week) and I agree with things so far.  

Wonderlick test seems like an outdated form of tests that the NFL won't get rid of because there is a baseline to compare people from the past.  With new advances in technology, I would love for them to set up situations at the line of scrimmage, with a play call, and a pre-determined defense and see how quickly they adjust.  With virtual technology taking off, I feel like this would be better served to determine QB acumen.  I don't need the QB to find a tax write-off for the PSLs, I need him to throw TDs and dissect a defense.  

Having watched Hackenberg, I've wondered about the hand size affecting his accuracy.  I was researching my idea of tallying completion percentage to hand size, only to see someone else already did the work, alas I let it go.

It's from a Browns blog, I think at the time it was assumed they might pick Goff.

I think the main issues with Hackenberg is his footwork.  He seems much better under center, but the James Franklin system is probably one of the worst offensive systems out there.  Having watched Vanderbilt over the years when he was there, it's such a bad system that if he wasn't a good recruiter, he would have been fired.  

One thing that I did think about in terms of hands is his accuracy on quick screens.  On a quick screen, it's usually a catch and throw pass, and I'm wondering he has trouble finding the right grip on those throws because he doesn't have time to adjust his grip because he's throwing it too fast.  I don't know a website that tabulates numbers on quick WR screens (I'm guessing PFF but I'm not a member) as I would love to see if hands have an affect there.  That was the most frustrating aspect of Hackenberg on tape, his inability to hit these quick screens.  

I don't think he's ready to play this year, but I do think he has all the tools to be a stud if he can get in a good system (which Gailey takes care of) and fixes his mechanics.

Thanks man, we really appreciate the subscription! My brother is a HUGE Jets hater. He got so much enjoyment out of that week 17 Buffalo win over the Jets.

Thanks for listening. You make a great point about about inaccuracy on screen passes/swing routes, I never even considered that. I'm going to check out the links that you posted.
