flgreen
Power Rankings: Jets Start Fresh Posted 3 hours ago Ethan GreenbergNewyorkjets.com Contributor Chris Simms: Jets Have Best Roster in NFL Bleacher ReportChris Simms, NFL Lead Analyst Jets No. 7 You’re looking at a team with the best roster in football. There, I’ve said it. The Jets D-line is the best in football. Their secondary is up there, too. Their receiving corps is loaded again. Ryan Fitzpatrick doesn’t need to do much more than dump the ball off and let his supporting cast work. The running game will look a little different with Matt Forté. He’s more of a pass-catcher and speed back than Chris Ivory was. If that transition is seamless, the Jets won’t face many more questions.ESPN.com Jets No. 10 The Jets' first six games this season are against teams that finished .500 or better in 2015, and four of them are on the road. The Jets played nine games against teams that finished under .500 last season, tied for fourth-most in the NFL, and went 7-2 in those games.Sports IllustratedChris Burke Jets No. 10 It’s like an episode of “American Ninja Warrior” watching running backs traversing the Jets’ Muhammed Wilkerson-led defensive front. The Patriots plus a brutal first six weeks will conspire against the Jets, but they’re the best AFC team that no one is really talking about.Yahoo SportsFrank Schwab Jets No. 13 I don’t think anyone knows quite yet how rookie linebacker Darron Lee will be used early in the season, but I assume he’ll play a lot. He looked pretty good in the preseason. He’ll be a playmaker for the defense right away. NFL.com Elliot Harrison, NFL Media Analyst Jets No. 14 Much ado regarding Ryan Fitzpatrick's return and getting Mo Wilkerson under contract. The underlying area of concern, consideration or plain wonderin' is how the secondary will shake out. Darrelle Revis was better than people realized last year. He simply didn't play up to his ridiculous standard. What about Buster Skrine and Marcus Williams? Can they keep the slot receivers and WR2s in check any more than Antonio Cromartie and Dee Milliner? Tom Brady, a more experienced Tyrod Taylor and an Adam Gase-coached Ryan Tannehill are all in the AFC East. Can't wait to see what 2016 holds for the division -- and Gang Green, in particular.USA Today Jets No. 14 Gang Green averted disaster by finding ways to keep QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and DE Muhammad Wilkersonin the fold. OT Ryan Clady is being counted on to hold down the left side after missing almost two full seasons in the last three years.Fox SportsCameron DaSilva Jets No. 20 Ryan Fitzpatrick is back after winning ten games with the Jets a year ago. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/article-7/Power-Rankings-Jets-Start-Fresh-/0f18514e-8fdb-4371-b848-de347dfb26d4
Jets Daily Dosage.
Rankings are nothing. It's about proving the nay Sayers wrong when it counts, and leaving it all out on the field. I think the Jets believe in themselves finally, and they have the support of their fanbase. All the outside predictions and projections are just noise. Week 1 is when it matters! Jet Nut
FOX Sports list is weak. Have most of the league at 8-8. Jets D is aging? DL, LBs? 20 New York Jets: 8-8 Ryan Fitzpatrick is back after winning 10 games with the Jets a year ago, but he’s going to have a very difficult time replicating his 2015 campaign. As a result, the Jets are going to take a step back and regress a bit. The defense is aging and Fitzpatrick is just mediocre, which will make for a lackluster season in the AFC East. Agree Bet he didn't even look at the roster when the author wrote that.

How is there defense aging? Only Revis and Harris are above 30. Richardson, Wilkerson And Williams are all young!
