James Carpenter JN

By Glenn Naughton

While Brandon Marshall’s knee was on the minds of most Jets fans, the receiver was said to be a little bit sore but doing well.  Meanwhile, Gang Green waited on MRI results on the knee of left guard James Carpenter.

The news finally came through and it was good.  According to beat writer Darryl Slater, Carpenter’s injury is minor, just a mild strain that is unlikely to cause Carpenter to miss any time.

Great news on Carpenter. Thought I had read somewhere that Henderson was also having an MRI any updates on him?

Only news I saw on him was MRI today..he left the game in a walking boot.

dodged 2 big bullets.  no idea how Marshall did not tear his whole knee up.

if O stays healthy they will be hard to deal with

Agreed. That one could play could have been devastating to our season.

The O line has been better than I thought they would be. If they can stay healthy the unit will only get better as they get more used to playing with each other.
