### Jets \ Chiefs --- The Official Game Thread ###

Recommended Posts

Watching the Giants game felt like watching a Jets game... it'd be really great if watching this game didn't also feel like watching a Jets game.

That's why it's not time to start the whining on the first drive of the game before a single point has been scored.  Nice stop there in the end.

Although this spot should be.... interesting.... for the Jets.

Hopefully this drive will help the officials realize that the Jets are doing more than enough to lose this game all by themselves from here on out.

One thing the NHL does right; have the review done  by  a ref in an office soemwhere rather than on the field. Takes too long, on site officials are human and more likely to get caught up in the emotions of a crowd, even subconsciously.

Not to mention, they don't actually want to ever admit to being wrong unless they absolutely have to.

Sure was a bit late, but D at least stepped up there at the end.  Would've been better too do that about 40 yards earlier though.  Now maybe the offense can join the game.

They seriously let Marshall return again?  Holy crap.  How many times can you **** up in the same way before you get punished for it?

That is what you do with rookies. This is a rebuilding Year. Keep telling you

Don't get me wrong, I like Marshall and don't want to see him cut for this, but no... rookie or not, that is NOT what you do with rookies.  In the real world, you get to learn from your mistakes the hard way... especially when it's repetition of the same mistakes.  At some point, there needs to be some degree of punishment associated with failures.  If anything, that should happen the MOST with rookies, since they are the ones who have the most to learn.

As much as I hate A LOT of the decisions made in this game, I'm not sure in what world anyone thinks it would have been a good idea to opt to get the ball put into the hands of the kid who is solely responsible for 7 of those Chiefs points.  The Chiefs were more likely to end up with points off of a punt than the Jets.

I'm calling a pick 6 on the opening drive, feels like skrine, maybe pryor

For a second there I thought you were suggesting the Chiefs would opt to kick in the second half.

Huh?  You can block the kick, return the punt, Hail Mary...

that was ******* moronic.  He had all 3 and didn't use one!!!!!

really starting to doubt him

this team is loaded and they suck and he can't make adjustments or manage a game

The latter 2 of those options would more likely result in Chiefs points than Jets.  There's plenty of sh*t to pissed about regarding the stupid first half decisions.  The hissy fit being thrown by some about not desperately grasping onto a few seconds at the end of the half is not based on the reality of what ever actually happens in football.

Yes.

Because the Jets are literally banned from putting anyone but Jalin back there.

That was already a different idiotic decision made... for whatever reason.  The idea that there was some sort of great opportunity by calling a timeout with seconds left is a pure figment of imagination from people thinking there's not enough legit sh*t to hate about what they did.

They don't advance that to the 25?

It's a weird rule change, because now it's not all the same.  That only applies on kickoffs.  All other touchbacks are still the 20.

How do you guys watch this crap?

Because unlike cutting yourself, this leaves no physical scars.

What's that say about you taking enjoyment out of the misery of the self-loathing, huh?  Not cool, man.

The Chiefs stopped trying after early in the 3rd and we're still down 14...

Hey, maybe it was a handshake agreement that both teams would stop trying.  You don't know!!!

Fitz is upset... he thought he almost had another reception there.  He's not worried about who catches it, just that someone does!

How is Fitz supposed to do well when so many of his throws are getting dropped?!?  Jeez, can't the Chiefs do their part at all?
