He didn't suck for us, he was a youngster who couldn't stay healthy, and maybe needed some time.

Whatever.  IMO he's better than Davis or the new guy they seem to have a hard-on for Bowman, not to mention Bostick.

WTF!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!

Based on what? All reports out of camp was he was excelling. A couple of drops in meaningless preseason playing live games for the first time in over a year means nothing. Its called developing your high round picks. Macagnon didn't  want an Idzik player that's all it was.

No he didn't . The CS didn't mesh with him for some reason and it started early on. This one is a head scratcher that's screams personal issues not divulged.

he did have some drops and had an awkward clumsiness about him, but he did manage to get open frequently in his rookie year. it had to be personal

There is a pattern emerging this year. There are not quite a few guys who "looked good" in camp and sucked during games. Kind of tells me that these game plans on offense and defense are very bad making lots of players look horrible during games.

A couple of drops in meaningless preseason games?

After drops in the regular season games?

And you coming up with this nonsense off of 3 meaningless catches in Tenn?

Wow, he can't beat out one of the best Tight Ends in football. Quite an indictment.

We gave up too early on him. We have ******* nothing at the position.

Back atchya.  He makes a few catches for Tennessee and all of a sudden he turned the corner?

By all accounts, the guy showed up unprepared to practice multiple times.  He ran the wrong routes, didn't take to coaching, and showed little to no improvement as a blocker.

He was active for one game against Tennessee and has more yards receiving in that one game than all of our tight ends combined for the season. How the **** did he manage to get prepared for the Titans in a week and a half?

LOL he barely even played for us. you are one of those people that start calling our rookies a bust after their first game aren't you?

You guys do slurping up Jace Amaro that the Raiders have a historically bad defense through the first 3 weeks right?

It's like none of you watched him in the preseason.  For those criticizing the coaching staff for his summer failures, explain to me why just about EVERY young player (Jalin Marshall, Charone Peake, Quincy Enunwa, Robby Anderson) had great moments and Jace didn't?  The game plan was the reason he ran the wrong routes, dropped passes, and never got open?  I love how people will rewrite history when they're pissed off.  Out of all the players that had good reports in camp, why was Jace the only one that sucked fat d!ck when the lights came on?  We came out of the preseason praising the CS and GM for getting us some really good young talent on offense, and now it's their fault that Jace Amaro, the one guy who showed absolutely NOTHING, was cut.

Is it going to be like this every time we lose?

I wanted to like him, wanted him to be good. He just wasn't.

He was a problem child and a distraction.  I rooted hard for him to be good he never was and still isn't.

59 yards against the worst defense in the nfl and people are crowing about it?

Crowing?  No just annoyed we cut a kid who barely saw the field after he cost a 2nd round pick and we kept absolute nobodies at the position.  He gets a shot at TE 2 and he shows he can play. So yeah.  Annoying.

Don't worry, they replaced him with a guy who drops more passes, doesn't learn the playbook and drives drunk.

Bullsh*t.  He played one year as a rookie; was injured last year and did not play.  This would have been his second season; if he goes on to be great it will be another example of being impatient with a young player and watching them blossom somewhere else.   Meanwhile we sign a guy with drinking and attitude problems who also struggled with drops his first few years. I think Mac knows he ****ed up by cutting Amaro and is trying to find lucky with ASJ.

Meanwhile, Marshall fumbles once a game and it's all good.
