Paradis
Forget the QB stuff for a minute (yea right), why am I not seeing more from these guys the last 2 weeks? I mean, we're supposed to have the most fearsome front line, and they barely got Alex Smith's jersey dirty. Couple of splash plays aside, they've been pretty nondescript for 3 first round picks. no psls
According to Mr. Westhoff , without press coverage , the defensive line is useless because Alex Smith released the ball so fast . We need to jam the receivers so the D line has time to rip the QB's head off .
Paradis
gameplanning is major suspect.
joewilly12
Most teams in the NFL have a decent enough OL to stop the 1 trick pony Jets defense.
hawk
How the Fuq can they get to him, if they give all the WR's, TE, RB 10 yard cushions?

It seemed like the game plan vs Buffalo was to maintain their lanes/gaps to keep Taylor from taking off with the ball. Yesterday they didn't have a shot at getting to Smith. His WRs/TEs were wide open all day on those quick slants. I was more concerned with what we saw out of the front 7 and the KC running game yesterday. It's been years since a RB ran through us that easily.
Paradis
Still garbage. Seriously, how we do justify this kind of resource investment with this type of return??
pdxgreen
They couldn't stop a warm cup of piss out there today. Big Ben had all day to throw.
Barton
Guys, its all about the scheme. You cannot get to the QB with just 4 fat guys over 300lbs. Bowles seems to be too stupid to realize this.
Jets723
Wilkerson bitched and moaned about a new contract and now he has it and he hasn't done much lately.

BroadwayJets
We're on pace to pay these guys $35 million next year, and unless we spend another first round pick in the front 7, they'll be just as effective!
AFJF
Real Football Network had them ranked in the bottom-5 a couple weeks ago. Not sure where they are now, but they pressured Ben on 8 of 48 drop backs according to PFF.
