Paradis
https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-ryan-fitzpatrick-just-earned-the-lowest-pff-grade-weve-ever-given-a-qb/ Guess the next question is, how long does his smile and bromance with the players continue to cast shade over the truth about what we're trying to do this season? jbt
just start Petty when healthy. Not winning division, wildcard already looking bad because of losses to AFC competition. Fitz wont be here next season so lets cut our losses. next question is will Bowles learn from the mistakes he keeps on making or will he be gone in another year or 2? I find it rather comical that you consider it some sort of victory that both of the Jets top 2 QBs appear to suck, not just one of them. That said, regardless of this little grading system, I still say that Sanchez's infamous game against Buffalo trumps either of those 2 in terms of all-time awfulness, considering the Jets ran for over 300 yards in that one. Ah... the wonderful world of Jets' QBs.

Ah... the wonderful world of Jets' QBs. I dont think our top 2 QB's suck. I think our rookie sucked back in 2013 and I have no idea what he is with this new team/coaching staff. I do think however that Ryan Fitzpatrick sucks...even with all these "weaponzzzzzzz".

I don't need any more proof of just how bad this guy is. Time to send a message to the team. Just like last year when they cut Coples a top draft pick. Every man is expendable. In the Marine Corps we hold those words to be true. It can cost you your life. This guy will still get his $12MM

JetUp91
It was just a bad game guys. I understand that games like this make people feel like the sky is falling and changes are needed, but I still think Fitzpatrick is the best option we have on this team. That's not going to be a popular opinion on this board considering how he just threw 6 interceptions and underthrew a couple of touchdowns, but just last week we were all just in awe watching how well he played against a team that made Carson Palmer and the Super Bowl favorite Arizona Cardinals look STUPID for 60 minutes. Palmer threw 4 interceptions against a team Fitzpatrick sliced and diced last week. Everything that could've possibly went wrong yesterday did. We got rocked. We'll pick ourselves up and give Seattle a fight.

PCP63
Worst game I've ever seen. But PFF is still bullsh*t. Buncha slack-jawed nerds that have never picked up a pigskin in their life. I'm ALL for advanced metrics (computer programming IS my field), but they take it too far. What they consider a good play and a bad play is not what I consider a good play and a bad play. Just as an example, they rated Hack undraftable. While he certainly needs work, I think he has the highest potential of any QB in that draft class. The team has front loaded the roster, over paid veterans and generally made decisions that a team trying to "win now" make. I'm aware it's not always black and white like that, but there's enough to make an indictment. And right now, it's not working. We're not winning. Turn in their tickets? NOT watch the games. This is one of the most oft-repeated nonsensical arguments. Jet fans would stand for rebuild. the fact is, there's NO NEED for a rebuild. Just a need for better coaching and accountability. The Jets roster, after two Mac offseasons is as talented as it needs to be. They are just sloppy and there's no accountability for poor performance, whether you're a veteran or a rookie.

Sound familiar? Only if the games were unwatchable, which assumes facts not in evidence. But, really, the change was not made because of the billboards or plane banners. It was made because the Jets had one of the worst rosters in the NFL and, after 4 years, their coaching message was stale.

Incompetence on this particular issue started in 2015. It's not one decision that was poorly handled. Macc inherited a team with a lot of needs - but also a lot of money. He spent beyond what I would call simply filling the gaps. It's not to say that every decision was poor, yet the theme has always been -- emphasis on the present over the future. Add in totally botched QB situation we have now (1 aged fraud, 1 public enemy, and 2 sh*t projects) and we have to start asking questions... what's the plan Mike? Hackenberg as an answer isn't gonna cut it pal.
