I don't know what your relation to Geno is, but the only significant passing that guy is likely going to do this year is passing food at the dinner table for the holidays. He was never going to be the starter this year. He's awful. The coaches know it, his teammates know it, the fans know it. The starter was always going to be Fitzpatrick. They would have matched any offer he recieved as long as it wasn't a 18-20million offer. The team was basically holding out on giving him 12 with the hopes they could get him for less. That contract, with the way it was structured, was formed in a couple of hours. It was something they were hoping they didn't have to offer him but would if they absolutely had to because he wouldn't turn it down Get. Over. Geno. Smith. Lol i like how you avoided acknowledging the article/insiders that state the jets are going to "GENO SMITH " not your man crush petty lol.. When it's time to replace fitz, it's going to be geno as I stated. yes geno has not been a great qb.. He is young, and has played on crap teams..As they stated he is more prepared than the rookies.. petty coming from the O he can from in college is basically still a rookie.. Some idiots can't realize it takes time.. Fitzpatrick still can't figure it out after 10 yrs.. Fitzpatrick is garbage on a good offensive team.. geno can at least throw it past 10 yards.. Ryan Fitzpatrick is garbage and is only going to get worse at his age.. geno may not have much hope but he can only go up, while fitz will continue to lose the little skill he had..
