Even the best GMs make poor choices. He will be judged if Petty, Hack or a 2017 (2018?) pick turn into our franchise QB....and how long Bowles stays around for. You weren't getting Mariota, no matter how much you wanted him. I liked Mariota and wanted him too. Not the point, I wanted Luck and wanted Jameis even more but they weren't available.
