Gas2No99
The World's Greatest Seinfeld Mural Is In Australia And It's Spectacular Australians seem to like Seinfeld almost as much as New Yorkers do. Earlier this year, Dave Barrett opened up "George's Bar," a Melbourne bar themed after everybody's favorite fictional neurotic Queens native. And now, a local artist has created a giant mural in honor of the show, with several standout moments, characters and catchphrases all over it. Perth mural artist and illustrator named Paul Deej has created the giant canvas in Mount Lawley (more specifically, for anyone traveling to Perth anytime soon, "The wall is behind the IGA on Beaufort St."). Here's a (teeny-tiny) banner of the entire thing all in a row: (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Paul Deej There is Jerry Seinfeld in the puffy shirt ("But I don't wanna be a pirate"), Tom's Restaurant, Elaine saying "Yadda Yadda Yadda," George's philosophy on lying, Kramer's pimp mugshot, Yankee Stadium, flags for Vandelay Industries and Kramerica, Estelle with Frank Costanza shouting "serenity now" on the phone, George with a baseball bat, a be-caped Larry David as Frank's lawyer, Crazy Joe Davola in clown makeup, Newman with his famous mail quote, Elaine's little kicks, Puddy's 8 ball jacket, Jackie Chiles, the Soup Nazi, a giant Pez dispenser, Junior Mints, Suzanne licking the envelopes, a traditional Festivus pole, Bubble Boy with the "Moops" card, the back of George Steinbrenner's head, and Jerry's standup stage. Here's a quick video tour of the mural: And below, get a much closer and clearer look at everything in a series of Instagram pics of the mural:
