JetFanWithNOPSL2017
I bet people said the same thing when Geno destroyed the Fins with 4TDs and a perfect 158.3 passer rating last game of the season in 2013... Petty did some good stuff... He had some luck...Chip Kelly's offense not being able to eat clock with a lead and Bilal Powell playing the game of his career won the game tho. Wait..You mean the week 17 game where Miami rested all their starters ??

johnnysd
Pettys internal "clock" was dramatically better in the 2nd half. and it shows what a crock of shiiit the saying that verrands woukd give up if a rookiE started. He motivated them along with Bilal

SR24
Nice confidence booster for Petty against a weak defense. Kid showed tremendous heart and will to win which is something this team has needed. These next 3 games are where we see what this kids really got. Petty Burris Anderson Powell Leo Q Winters played great and played with fire today it was awesome to see. Onto Miami!
JetBlue
Although it was against what looks like the worst team in football, I am very happy for Petty. The guy is a work in progress but you can see the talent; if Powell can continue to play like this help take the pressure off of him, he should play even better these next 3 games. One thing is for sure; he has guts and he has arm. This win hopefully will do wonders for his confidence. I think his energy was contagious. Another thing, Anderson is a rookie and has had rookie drops but you can see this kid can be a playmaker. I love the fact that we got ASJ involved. If he can stay sober, we may a real steal on our hands. When I consider our young offensive weapons, Enunwa, Peake perhaps Smith, there is hope for the future. Bottom line, Petty should have been starting weeks ago and who knows how he would be looking by now.

I'm happy for the win like I said ., but I know come April it's gonna be a bitch .. this is all This is not the same as those guys played all year. If we're finding a QB, a couple slots won't matter. And that said, this game was always a toss-up at best.

Popular Post Scoop24
Robbie Anderson would probably have 1,000 yards this season if he had QB that could actually throw downfield .. No surprise he suddenly making plays when a QB can get him the ball downfield.., I won't over blow the drops he isn't Stephen hill out there

Why not root for Smith to also improve over the offseason as well and make the team even that much dangerous? Also I still don't get this Belitnikoff comparison at all but hey that's just me.

SR24
If Smith can come back and be effective we'd have 2 solid deep ball threats,Marshall and Decker oh and ASJ. Wow. Rangers9
I think Bowles isn't so bad at halftime adjustments. Not the first time it's happened this year. The problem is don't let things get out of hand early. And always having to play from behind.

kdels62
I love that his idol is Favre, if he can be the gunslinger but also show knowledge of the system then we'll have our qb. His scrambles and throws downfield look very Favre/ Rodgers. Watching Mo and ASJ come out and celebrate with Petty shows something about this kid.
CanadienJetsFan
I'm happy that Petty was able to lead the team to Victory. Athough the game still looked a little bit too fast for him, which is normal, he didn't make any bonehead mistakes when the game was on the line. Oh yeah, he had a 66% completion percentage.
