I will also say that I didn't know that Hyde was that shifty and able to bounce outside that well. But Jenkins got some pressure on Kaepernick too. Give him time to set and throw, draft a line. Look at the Cowboys. Bryce has a long way to go but he's got a big arm & moxie. And while the NFL world is slurping Dak Prescott I'm positive if Dak was playing behind the Jets line like Petty today he'd probably look like a huge ? too.

At least move him down in the lineup. He's a situational pass rusher who was being asked to set the edge vs the power running game. Probably more an indictment of the DC than the player but either way he was getting blown up on just about every run.
Rangers9
Bryce has to get rid of the ball quicker. That's my biggest criticism of him. He allows his receivers to make plays for him. The throw doesn't have to be perfect. His receivers have the talent to make big plays. Although I hope his accuracy improves. It will have to. By the way a big 50 yarder for Folk who has quietly had a good year after a rocky start that basically lost us a game. But a lot of good Pks this season have missed extra points including Gosty on NEP.

Sadly this a poor showing for our head coach It was the same last year. Bowles leans heavily upon his veterans and is very slow to bench them, even when it is obvious that the best days are definitely behind them or that there are younger, more talented players who are practicing hard and deserve an opportunity. Fitz is just the most glaring example of this. If Bowles doesn't change this and start playing folks based on merit and not reputation, it will ultimately be his undoing as a HC.

Use Mangolds money for a good young CB/LB/or LT. I keep telling you guys I hope Macc has the balls & the intestinal fortitude to do the veteran purge. Loved the way some of these young guys were balling. Gilchrist injury might be the end for him. We extended Skrine, maybe he can be our 4/5 CB next year in the dime. Not resigning Fitz, Mangold, Harris, Breno, Clady, Revis, Henderson, maybe Marshall? 70 million.

Nice arm but he has poor vision and takes forever to go through his progressions. That will improve but he makes a lot of ill advised throws that he wont get away with in the NFL. These secondaries are like hyenas and Petty is their lunch. Hack is the future of this franchise, at least in Mac's eyes since he spent a 2nd rounder on him ala Idziot on douchebag. But Hack wont even be sniffing the field until 2018. Mac will need to sign a higher profiled vet until Hack is ready or Woody may just give him card blanche and sign a top free agent like Cousins. One thing for sure, Petty will NOT be the starting QB next year.

It's a completely different story to start a rookie over a FA pickup who's never been a starter. Flynn didn't win 10 a season earlier with the Seahawks, would have been a lot harder to replace with a 3rd round rookie. Lynch should have sat last season, Pete kept going back to him expecting him to go back to his old self.
