Popular Post drsamuel84
Reports are that he's got a torn meniscus and will be a game time decision.....Why? Just shut him down. I'm sure the doctor's have told the coaching staff that he can't do more damage by playing but at the same time this a 31 year old running back, who's had a ton of carries this year, with a history of knee problems who we're, for the most part contractually obligated to have on the roster next year. Stop playing games and just shut him down already!
joewilly12
No reason in the world to keep playing him lets see what Powell and others can do.
Ohio State NY Jets fan
He gets 6M next year regardless so it would be nice if he is healthy

Powell has been here for like 6 years. We know what he can do. If its torn though, of course. Shut him down.
JoJoTownsell1
As an owner of Powell in my fantasy football league I completely agree.

I agree. its hard to argue with fortes career and he HAS Had his moments here. But he doesn't leave me saying, "he needs to get the ball in his hands more" like Powell does. Powells acceleration is above average and it's THAT aspect of his game that leaves me shaking my head, asking, "am I the only one seeing this? Why the hell isnt he the starter!?" Matthew007b
I agree with the OP... there's no point in having a guy hurt playing especially when he's under contract next year. Might as well bring up practice squad mates since we're in preseason mode anyway.
