Eagles:

2012:  17.5 points per game (ranked 29th in the league, right behind our offensive juggernaut)- year before Kelly

2013:  27.6 points per game (57% increase, ranked right behind the Cheaters) first year

2014:  29.6 points per game (ranked 3rd, ahead of the Cheaters)

2015:  23.6 points per game (ranked 13th, behind out record breaking Fitzmagic season) got fired

2016:  22.6 points per game (ranked 16th) no Kelly

49ers:

2015:  14.9 points per game (dead last in the league by a fair margin)- year before Kelly

2016:  19.3 points per game ((29% increase)- first year

He knows offense and he knows how to score points.  He doesn't know defense and he definitely prioritizes offense over defense.  At this point I would not hire him to be a head coach, but the guy would improve our offense.  As an OC, he's a perfect fit for the roster, especially if you consider Petty as the in-house favorite next year.  Spread system, similar reads.

Is "scoring points" the proper method to judge a coach that runs as many plays as possible without consideration of the effect of that tempo on the overall team?  It isn't just prioritizing offense, it is literally ******* the defense.

I figured it was better than yards gained because that would be more at the mercy of play counts on offense.  Also figured Y/A would be at the mercy of the skills with the QB.  For example, Geno's rookie year, the yards per attempt was 6.8, while last year with Fitz it was 6.9, even though Fitz had the better year and the offense was much better off.

Kelly isn't friendly for defenses, but it's not like our defense is stopping anyone with enough rest anyway.  Maybe we can tire out the opposing offense, lol.

If we're going to bring in an ex headcoach to be the OC it should 20000000000000% be Bill O'Brien (If he gets fired). This team doesn't have the mental capability to run a fast paced offense. We don't do anything face paced lol unless its letting wrs go for 80yd tds

Sheldon seems to smoke weed and drive at a pretty fast pace
