If Bowles had the 2015 Quinn did Jet fans would've been calling for him to be fired
last year.  I know most "big football fans" won't know this but:

- ATL started the season 5-0 with a real QB

- They then went 3-8 the rest of the year and missed the playoffs

Are you observing that Quinn progressed while Bowles regressed?

What if he made the Super Bowl the next year?

Our defense is young too.

Yup. And, above all, I'm hoping it gets much younger next year. And smarter and more dynamic.

But none of this has anything to do with what Quinn has done in Atlanta.

I think this thread is more relevant than many are giving credit.  It's way too easy to just say that Quinn has a franchise QB and we don't.  You don't get to the SB on just a franchise QB.  Tomlin and McCarthy know that.  And it's not all about the rosters either.  It takes preparation and in-game management and pulling the right strings to get the most out of your players.  Quinn is doing that.  Bowles it seems to me is not...

Are you observing that as a head coach, Quinn has successfully moved past his positional bias?

He was picked by the Falcons to fix the defense, in particular because the offense had all the pieces in place to be great.  Kyle Shanahan has more to do with the Falcons making the Super Bowl than Dan Quinn does.

Quinn was also never going to come here over Atlanta.
