It would be my favorite Jets season ever. If its gonna be a sh*tty year, I want it to be an entertaining sh*tty year. NOT FUNNY

nyjunc
It's impossible to compare players from different positions but we know QB is the most important position and Brady is far and away the best QB of all time so it's not crazy to call him the best player of all time. it is crazy to call Deion the best player of all time when he isn't even the best corner of all time. NE has its four receivers that you saw in the SB and pretty sure all will be back next yr. along with 87. Doubt they pay Marshall.

You could make the case for either one and I'd probably just throw my hands up and say "f*ck it, it's a tie". Even with my Fandom Bias, I lean Brady....but I loooooooved watching old films of Montana and part of my heart will always consider him the greatest. Especially when you factor in the Era and level of competition those Niners teams played against. As far as best player of all time...? I don't know. I think a lot of that talk is everyone high off of an incredible football game. Jerry Rice, Reggie White, LT, and Jim Brown are all guys that probably deserve that honor over Montana or Brady. Brady has surpassed Montana in my eyes and trust me I loved Montana when I was a kid. The Patriots have eclipsed the 49ers and will soon tie the Steelers next year. He didn't have the talent Joe Montana and Troy Aikman had when they went through their dynasty years. Think about it when it's all said and done. He got it done with receivers who may not have the talent but have tons of heart. yeah and those receivers are also taking advantage of the rule changes like no chucking receivers past 5 yards or the hands on coverage of the past. imagine how blount or mike haynes would have covered both amendola and edelman. they would be knocked down at the line every play. He'll go down because Belichick is worlds better at coaching and scouting than 99% of the same guys in the NFL during his tenure. Clearly Brady is talented. Clearly the Pats have had talented players, I mean top tier players. I think no other GM/Coach (and my impression is Belichick is ALL over the scouting/selection process) is the Pats constantly find above average value for guys who fit what BELICHICK wants to do. Brady gets to be remembers as THE greatest or one of the top couple QB's instead of being lumped in with a number of "great" QB's because of his coach/GM. Just like Wes Welker leaves and sort of comes back to earth out of the system (Belichick also knows when it's time to cut bait) and not long after finds another smurf receiver who is magically as talented. They aren't that special. Belichick is looking for certain attribute to execute the offense (or defense) in a certain way, finds the guy who is good (but not great) and makes them look great. And Brady is a great, who Belichick made look all time great. The way people look at sports is a lot of how they look at movies, which is understandable because Hollywood has been bombarding their brains with a PR system for 100 years. Promote the "star" because there are a ton of simpletons out there who most easily relate to one human at a time in regards to ideas. Yes, some of them are talented. Then, behind the star, to create the vehicle that propels them, there are a handful of arguably (and most of the time) much more talented individuals doing directing, screenplays, producing, cinematography, sound, FX etc etc. And the large group of people part of the studio or the entire film production - like the rest of a good organization in sports. Tom Brady is sort of like Tom Cruise here. Talented. Photogenic. Not really the reason for all the success deep down. And probably a fag too.
