It appears Morton is going to bring a west coast offense (or one very similar) to the team this year.. Is Tyrod a fit for that? A 1 read qb who looks to make plays with his legs before his arm? Idk about this he's not going to come cheap. He's a good talent but idk if he's the right guy for the job

This is a dead year coming up for the Jets. Morton must have learned something in New Orleans from Sean Payton, and you don't bring in a guy with a new system and not match him with our 2nd round QB Hackenberg.

Lets get this kid going in this new system, and use his intellect to learn in 2017. Protect him with a quick passing game & running game. Why rebuild & not try to find your future QB? Now if you tell me your signing Taylor & cutting Petty, I'm fine with that if the price is right, but that's only if Macc & Morton don't this Hack can hack it. If that's the case, if you have a shot at Darnold in 2018 draft you hand in the card and you move on from Hack too. It's all about the QBs in this league or else your just running in place.

It's rather amazing that the two name QBs the fans seem to have an interest in are a one quick outside the hashmarks read QB, and a 6'6" birch tree.
