Man if Osweiller already have confidence issues this one should put him to rest. Traded after one season to the browns as a salary dump and then potentially cut from the browns.  The freaking browns think he sucks that is all you need to know.

It was a SAVVY move by the Browns to acquire  a 2nd rounder for '18 in a year where they can LITERALLY THROW AWAY cap space. Also kills a HORRIBLE contract and serves as a warning to other teams.

Bengals re-signed CB Dre Kirkpatrick.

The Bengals whiffed on retaining their best two offensive linemen in free agency. Their counter move is to keep a solid-if-unspectacular starting cornerback they did spend the last five years developing. Plus sized (6'2/186) and still only 27 years old, Kirkpatrick has nine interceptions over the past four seasons and has been an every-down player for the past two. Assuming the Bengals keep RCB Adam Jones, Kirkpatrick will return as the team's starting left corner.

Clev wants a 3rd rounder for Brock and they will pay half of his salary.  do we bite?

no. We'll take him for less than half, say $6 million next season but absolutely no picks to Cleveland.  In fact, why bother at all?  Just hang up the phone if they call.

Don't see why every year the Jets don't sign players to big contracts, guys get pissy.

90% of these contracts don't work out, and notice the last time the Jets went crazy in free agency how many of those guys are still on our team.

Because most Twitter fans are dumb. And it bothers me

you should consider it.  Getting upset about not overpaying for mediocre talent is silly.  Buoye?  $14 million/season with $26 million guuaranteed???? .  He wasn't even a starter for his first 3 years until injuries forced them to start him last season.  He got a lot of change for a one year flurry at the position.  Maybe he's good, maybe it was a one-year fluke, but you don't risk a lot of guaranteed money and $14 million when the draft is loaded with prospects.
