False.

I list my seats for 2 or 3 games, and they're usually at 50% to 75% below face value, for sale on Stubhub.  One would think that since 100% of Jets fans live within 45 minutes of MetLife Stadium that 100% of my Stubhub sales are to Jets fans.  And if they are not, that's not my fault, that's the fault of Jets fans like you who don't buy bargain-priced seats, don't show up, and let enemy fans in the stadium.  Shame on you.

Much appreciated. If you could have them hold the RV Parking price steady at $125 per game, that would be great. I see tremendous value and I really enjoy paying $125 ten times per year.

I fear that it went up to $128 or even $130, that I wouldn't see the value and I might have to cancel my tickets lol.

I don't buy bargain-priced seats when I do attend games i either get them for free from my neighbor or I buy premium-priced seats LL Row 1.

You sell to opposing teams fans make sure you declare that at the first fan advisory board meeting, look forward to reading about how you were escorted off the property.

You have attended 1 game in MetLife Stadium in the last 2 years.  I've been paying attention.

Stubhub is anonymous.  There is no way to know who purchases anyone's seats.  The statistics are on my side.   There are 20,000,000 people within 45 minutes of MetLife Stadium if only 1 in 5 are Jets fans, that's a potential buyer base of 4,000,000 people.  I have 4 seats.

I would think with the service you provide the Jets and their fans by ownership of this outstanding forum that you would have your parking comped.

Let me see what I can do.  I just binge watched 51 episodes of House Of Cards.  I know how to play politics.

I just laughed out loud. That is hysterical, and true.

The ski tickets were Jets rewards related. So in fairness anyone who sat through 10 games last year was eligibile for those haha.

I would never do it but I always thought that if we redirected Jets Nation and Jet Nation .com to a non Jets site for a day that 1) Dead Spin and ESPN might cover it (depending on where we redirected to lol) and 2) It would enhance our bargaining position.

But I am not looking for anything so luckily there is nothing to bargain for. Once you score me that free parking lol.

Just making a brief appearance. SAR offered his tickets to me for free last year. All 4 of them in fact and he didn't expect anything in return. I offered to send something his way and he refused. In the end, the schedule didn't work out for me and I passed on the offer but SAR isn't some evil who is in Season Ticket business for profit. He goes to the games he can and sells the rest. Give the guy a rest joewilly. :)

I don't think Sar is the devil. I do think he plays the devil on TV though.

Seriously seems like a good dude the few times that I met him. Granted there is no proof of that if you read a lot of the stuff he writes LOL!

If you have/pay for your tickets, you can sell them to whomever you'd like. The Jets do not ask if you're a Jets fan before purchasing season tickets, they ask for the security code on the back of your CC. If the Jets do not ask if you're a fan, neither should loyal season ticket holders when they can't make a game.

Try to go easy on the burpers and farters.

Thankfully, hot air rises and the mezzanine is below the upper deck.

They can burp and fart at-will, nothing up there to offend but birds.  I feel bad for the West Point paratroopers, but that's a once-a-year gig.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Please remember once you are Chairman, my vote goes to Fireman Ed as co-Chairman.

Fireman Ed is no longer a part of the Jets organization and certainly not affiliated with the Jets Fan Advisory Board.

Yes, typo, my apologies.

See you there.  Unless you plan to challenge me on my candidacy to be the Chairman of the Fan Advisory Board in which case I will beat you down like IK Empapali on Geno Smith.

I had the fan advisory board invite last year..  It was a great event.  There's a link to the thread on it a little earlier in this thread.  There were multiple break out meetings on different topics after the overall group meeting.  I posted a bunch of it in that thread. along with the pics.

Remember, this was coming off a 10-6 season and even though the team missed the playoffs the environment was a lot different from todays. It would be interesting to see if there is any difference in the tone and demeanor of everyone at the event including the Jets representatives.

All the attendees got a gift bag. Here are some of the things in it. I missed the opportunity to have Mac sign the coffee mug.

You see, now you are going to make me answer this seriously. Thanks for the compliment but I feel that the Jets PR department is good these days. Initially it was rough going with them but ever since Bruce Speight took over they seem really fair with us overall.

I don't typically broadcast it but the last few years I have been invited out for a meeting with Neil Glat and several other Jets employees. They are big on feedback and ask a ton of questions that has me convinced they care what the fans think. Now everyone always says that they care to the extent that the money is coming in with ticket sales. But I have seen them act the same when after good seasons and bad seasons. So I do believe they want the fan experience to be as rewarding as possible.

I actually think they are smart to not include me in a forum like this one because my views are probably a little different. I do appreciate that they reach out and the Jets PR department has been good to us the last few years. We don't have press passes and truth be told that is for the best. They get us access to training camp, and that is all we really need. Sitting in the press box is not something I would ever do. Sure we could get a writer in there. But it doesn't help our coverage at all. And it really helps ensure that we stay 100% true because we don't owe the team anything.

No, I had to cancel unfortunately.  My son's 5th birthday, I tried justifying prioritizing the Jets over him but in the end I just couldn't do it.

The Jets understood, they said I am still on the Advisory Board and that my issues were raised regarding UBER relocation and forcing use of the pedestrian overpass to Lots B and D, said I would get an invite to next year's event as well.

You made the right decision. Family comes first. Before you know it your son will be off to college.

I got there in the middle of the dinner hour where coach Bowles and Mike Mccagnan we're walking around. They were both very nice guys as were the the admin staff. Got a chance to lobby Mccagnan on draft picks, direction of team, etc. After the dinner they brought everybody into the media room/ auditorium for an hour of q and a followed by a tour of the facility. Discussions included some complaints about all the noise at the stadium and trying to tone it down. My view is whatever the players need to get pumped up works for me. They also had a discussion on fireman Ed and the chant which I'm sure would have have gotten you fired up.

I was pleasantly suprised that they monitor fan noise and responses to video and audio on a play-by-play basis to determine what generates the most noise to help create a home-field advantage.

The fans and the admin staff all seemed to be in agreement that this should not be a make-or-break year for Todd and Mike and they should be given time. They implied that it was Woody's view as well.

Thanks for the recap.  Some questions if you don't mind:

Any discussion on the UBER's double-parking by the pedestrian bridge causing major congestion from Lots C, D, and E?

Anyone mention that the non-stop noise on all TV timeouts burns out the crowd who have no choice but to have a conversation during live game action because they can't hear themselves over the PA noise during breaks?

Did the Jets ask about Fireman Ed and the chant or did some dumb fan in the audience raise the issue?
