Cool to see that you've decided Jenkins' career after one year.  Typical

Actually Jenkins played well and set the edge nicely when in the game.  He's more of a 4-3 type of OLB, than a 3-4, but he shows good promise.  No, he'll never be a stud edge rusher, nor will Mauldin, so we still have a need, but the Dude poster has no clue what he is talking about.  Just talking out of his anus as usual.

Pro Football Focus is a crappy. com? ha ha....ok

Pro Football Focus is a stupid person's idea of what "advanced metrics" are, but even if we take them at their word, the article you linked is only comparing him to other rookies.

Who needs OLB's that can rush the passer you're right Dcat that is so unimportant

If his ceiling is Bryan Thomas that's a pretty underwhelming ceiling

If we perform as expected this year and end up with Darnold or Allen (WY) or even Rosen, we will be able to attract an established HC (Offensive genius) and he can bring in his choice of GM.  Perhaps Payton or McCarthy are available in 2018 or 2019.  Having a superstar franchise QB changes the game.

Is there a Master's Program at MIT where one becomes an "offensive genius" or "defensive genius"?

There seems to many of these dudes floating around.

Maybe a QB "guru"/  Where is that found in Tibet?

suck for Sam 2017

If they fire Bowles and/or Macc, the next move will be to hire a respected full time team president otherwise no decent coach or GM candidate will even take Woody's call.

Problem is there's not a ton of those guys lying around looking for gigs.  Teams hold on to good GM's

One thing that bodes well for us is the TV networks like ESPN and Fox seem to be cutting high priced commentators.  That might make a couple guys suddenly compelled to come back and at least be a czar which is what we need

So you claim, but all of the evidence proves otherwise.

The 2013 draft already looked like pure crap outside of Richardson, and the 2014 draft had 5 guys who didn't even make the team, another who was already the injury mess everyone knew he would be, and not a single other player from the draft having shown a damn thing.  A 6th round pick in Enunwa eventually stepped up in year 3, the rest of it was absolute garbage.  To have Idzik destroy another draft and be involved in the hiring of a HC would have been pure stupidity.

Wait til u see the '17 draft
