Rumors. Anonymous. Got it.

Did you happen to watch any of the Eagles preseason game that he played in?  Or the end of the Giants game?

Rumors or not, his accuracy is terrible because his mechanics are terrible.  But maybe they can undo several seasons of bad habits.  Of course, these are not the type of prospects you spend the #51st pick in the draft on.

His strengths were being able to understand a complicated playbook.  Well I know a ton of super intelligent people that could comprehend a complicated playbook.  The problem he has, is the same problem all my attorney/accounting peers have.  Can't throw the ball like an NFL prospect should be able to.

This isn't like a young Nolan Ryan that can all of a sudden control his 100 MPH fastball.  There are just too many variable to analyze every snap.  He is thinking too much, panicking, and then relying on his athletism and terrible mechanics  to get by.

Realisically, he would be the 32nd ranked 3rd string QB in the league.

RG III,Kaep and Cutler will all be available after the draft.

Im leaning towards acquiring McCarron for Richardson and drafting another immediate impact player at 6 this scenario instantly improves this team.

I would be for that, but not a QB at number six. A WR like Mike Williams of Clemson or Cook / Fournette would be immediate help for an offense that desperately needs it.

But Idzik didn't just cut people. He had a sound strategy of acquiring picks and he was right about the notion of shedding expensive 2nd and 3rd contracts while relying on mid-rounders to build a club. In hindsight that Revis trade was pretty insane value for a corner, even one of Revis' stature at the time. The high amount of picks he cultivated for the year after that was 100% intentional. He had the right idea in how to go about building a team. His eye for players was just dogsh*t.

He also drafted very poorly. He had a chance to have a real bonanza with 14 picks and of those only four made any impact and one starter. Not good. Of those only McDougle (bust) Pryor (huge bust) and Enunwa (possible star) plus Dakota Dozier - backup are still with the team.
