jeremy2020
because of the Glorious Shining One, Hack, He Who Throws a Football that may or may not hit the ocean. PS. Don't expect to see him play during the season. His talent shines too bright for the likes of mortal men.
flgreen
Easy one. The Jets felt that both their young QB's are better then any QB's in this draft. That may be arguable, but hopefully we'll get to see this season.

He may think Hack is his guy, if not, he wants to tank for a real QB prospect not one of these over-hyped, under-talented guys ESPN made everyone believe was worthy of a 1st round pick. OMG Watson won a national title, let's ignore his INTs and lack of arm strength. OMG Trubisky looked pretty good, but only played 1 year and didn't make his team better from last year OMG Mahomes has a rifle of an arm, so let's ignore the fact that every QB that comes out of these types offenses turn out to be a bust and that he seems to "wing" it more than you would generally want from your QB. OMG Kizer has the size and arm but his own coach didn't even think was ready for the NFL and was terribly inconsistent. Meanwhile, next year there is Sam Darnold. Big kid, great arm, accurate, made his team better the second he got the starting job and was as good as a QB can be in the Rose Bowl.

That may be arguable, but hopefully we'll get to see this season. that's the easy and most logical answer. it's also contradictory to what mccags said when he became gm of the team, that he believes you draft a qb every year until you find one. and this year he had 11 chances to take a qb and didn't take one. flgreen
Yeah he did say that. You also have to give a fair chance to the QB's you do draft to show if they can play the game at this level. if you don't there's no sense in drafting them. Hopefully Petty and Hack get their shot this season.
Larz
Having 3 project qbs is no better than 2 With the new cba, they get no reps. Next year is QB year
Snell41
C-both. He's going with Hack this year. If he turns out to be the real deal we start giving him weapons next year. If he's a bust, we're tanking for Darnold anyway.Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
