Poor girl? Do we even know what happened? Is their video of Lee actually touching anyone? Do we know what the girl did to provoke him? are all women "poor little girls" to you no matter what their actions? What if it turns out the girl used racist comments and used physical force against Lee first and Lee just yelled back at her?
Whatever, the twitter-verse has spoken and the facts no longer matter...

Clam down chief. Going on the account of an eye witness and the fact that Leonard had to physically remove him.

C'mon guys....pretty obvious that Leonard Williams hoisted up and physically removed Darron Lee from the situation because he wasn't doing anything wrong like that eye witness claimed he was.

Leonard Williams Allegedly Broke Up Argument Between Darron Lee, Woman on Video

TYLER CONWAYJUNE 4, 2017

Video captured by an attendee of the Governors Ball Music Festival appears to show New York Jets defensive lineman Leonard Williams restraining teammate Darron Lee from an argument with a woman.

Twitter user @gunnerpunner provided the video and context:

Got the video of some of it. Need to download it off my spectacles.

According to the concertgoer's account, a person (later identified as Lee by NFL writer Benjamin Allbright) harassed and became physical with an unnamed woman on multiple occasions. Williams later stepped in and picked up Lee to take him away from the situation.

Lee was identified as the aggressor, with people needing to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating. The concertgoer said Lee threatened Williams, who picked up his teammate after he attempted to shove his way through and get back to the woman.

These accounts have not been confirmed, either by police or any of the people involved in the situation. Security intervened after Williams became physical with Lee.

Lee, 22, was the Jets' first-round pick in 2016. He recorded 73 tackles combined and one sack during his rookie campaign, playing in 13 games.

Lee begins his exit phase of New York Jetdom.

If only if he was as tough on tight ends as he is with tipsy chicks at concerts.

And another situation in which Len Williams has to be the adult for this clown car of a defensive front 7.

yeah....I love the double standard now.  If you are a woman, you can pretty much say anything, do anything, hit anything, punch anything, and pretty much get away with anything.  But if a guy has enough and gets pissed off:

Yes. She is a girl. You do not hit a girl. If you haven't learned this or worse were not taught this by your dad or your mom or your friends or your brothers or sisters, you and they have FAILED. And if you attempt to hit a girl you are low POS coward.

That's how older generations were raised when CHIVALRY was still alive and society abided by an unspoken decorum. It's how I was raised, but today's "youth," especially the d!ck-less kind, find that out-dated mentality of being noble and a gentleman as demeaning and insulting to them.

New York Jets defensive lineman Leonard Williams appeared to break up a dispute between a man believed to be teammate Darron Lee and an unidentified woman Saturday night at a musical festival in New York.

In video posted to Twitter by an eyewitness to the incident, Williams, 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, forcibly removed the man, believed to be Lee, from an apparent altercation, pushing him 15 feet away from the woman.

Earlier Saturday, Williams posted Instagram video of him and Lee at the festival. The man in the video Saturday night was wearing the same clothes Lee was wearing in the earlier video.

The incident happened at the Governors Ball Music Festival on Randall's Island. There were no arrests stemming from the situation, according to a New York Police Department spokesman.

The Jets declined comment.

Williams and Lee were the Jets' first-round picks in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Next steps:

1. Inflammatory Mehta article.

2. Horrible attempt by Jets PR teens to downplay incident.

3. Reams of awful misogynistic, latent homosexual posts on JN.

4. Lawsuit filed by alleged victim.

5. Out of court settlement with alleged victim.

6. Very serious statement by Jets decrying  domestic violence.

7. Rumors of futile attempts to trade Darron Lee near 2018 draft.

8. Jets trade Darron Lee to Bengals for 6th rounder.

9. Reams of posts from Item 3 group saying "what do you want Lee sucked get real"

These "music festivals" should be shut down. They are a hive of impropriety and immoral behavior. It's like a tailgate with better music.

Can someone let me know when we arrive at step 3?

Need more jokes about "a pretty big guy" being an inaccurate description of Darron Lee.

Also where was Petty since those three were together.

And finally I'm sure there will be more video of the incident so maybe let's not overreact yet?

Think Lee should be buying Leo a very expensive gift.  From the looks of the video Williams saved Lee from getting his butt locked up, and a very expensive 4 game suspension.

What's with Jets and music festivals?  A lot of players have clauses in their contracts prohibiting motorcycles, pick up basketball, etc.  Maybe Jets should start including music festivals.

Couldnt stand the pick but was still hoping to be proven wrong.

After his racist twitter b/s that the Jets had to scrub, the fake Ohio bar (non) fight and now this stuff today I honestly.hope he loses his job to Carter or Johnson.

This guy has become impossible to root for.
