An ex Raider, that changes everything.  He said he would like to play with a QB like Carr, Favre, Rodgers etc if he were to come back.  To you its a done deal, he's coming to Oakland.

Guess you missed Lynch's last season.

First off M Lynch was pissed that he didn't get the ball at the one in the Super Bowl. Battled injuries the following year.     Second playing behind one of the best physical offense lines out there. This guy playing for one reason for the City of Oakland. ( playing for his hometown)   Man in tremendous shape , and hasn't missed one Ota's.

Behind the Raiders offense line Beastmode easily gets 1,000 yards that with sharing the load with their other talented backs.  http://www.raiders.com/media-vault/videos/Donald-Penn-Discusses-Lynchs-Impact-Off-The-Field/543a4471-ade8-4807-88f9-da30df3df78f

So, because Lynch was pissed off he ran for 400 yards his last season with Seattle.  Hes not even human.  He had his time cut because his career was winding down except to over hyped Raider fans.  Who just know that 400 yards over the last two seasons translates well for 2017.

When will you learn to temper your over hyped outlook when it comes to your team.

The Raiders offense is going to be one of the best right now.   They severely upgraded that unit this offseason.   Marshawn Lynch - Beastmode in best shape of his career,  Te Jared Cook- a receiving threat to attack the middle, and down the seams ,Wr  Cordaelle Patterson - first one of the best kick returners in the game.   Raiders have big plans for him in their offense. Whether it's him lining up at Wr or at RB- get him matched up on a lb. Get the ball in his hands in space, and watch him work his kick return magic.

You have one of the best physical offense line around blocking for a deep RB corps.  Not just Beastmode as Jalen Richard , and Deandre Washington are no jokes whether it's as runners or receivers.( all going to get their touches) Without a doubt the best offense line M Lynch has ever ran behind.

now you add Calvin Johnson as third wr, with one of the best starting Wr duo of Amari Cooper ,and Michael Crabtree . Te Jared Cook Rb M Lynch.   With a Qb that keep getting better in Derek Carr.  I don't care you have Denver defense , or Kc defense - you aren't stopping that offense. Choice how you want to lose- by getting run on, or getting beat over the top.

The Patriots offense line is no match for the Raiders defense line.( Beauty is they know where Brady will be) . With Calvin Johnson the Raiders offense would be unstoppable.  Easy they stop the Patriots offense , more times than they stop the Raiders offense.

Was anyone else hearing Supertramp playing in their heads while reading this?

Injecting youngbloods is what the Jets need to do. They are rebuilding. Spending big bucks on the over the hill gangs has proved over and over that it just doesn't work for this team. The Jets will need 2-3 years to be competitive if they do everything right. CJ will be 34 by then. Pass.

How old will Steve Smith be?

Probably about the same age.

Nope.  He is 38 now, yet this team contacted him to join us during our youth movement.  My disagreement is not with your theory, but whether this team is following it.

It would make little sense for the Jets to cut Marshall and Decker only to turn around and sign the game's oldest receiver. It would make even less sense for Smith to unretire for the opportunity to join an organization ostensibly punting the 2017 season.
