Good Lord. It's just amazing how this team can be so consistently wrong on so many players, all at different positions. I guess it really is a talent.

Well, the plus side is Maccagnan seems to have a pretty good eye for seeing how awful Idzik's draft picks were before other teams do.  2 of the 3 he traded away this year (Pryor, McDougle) are now looking for their 4th team, while what they got in return (Davis, Brooks) are still here and certainly upgrades.

Of course, it would be nice if he could recognize that for his own picks, or better yet, have them actually be worth keeping.

Mac has made 2 excellent trades.   He got probably out best linebacker for a safety who is out of the league, and traded Sheldon for a very productive WR and a second rounder.

This is the big off season.  Last time he had a ton of cap room, most of the contracts he gave out didn't work out.   Don't do that again.

Yeah, he's the third of those trades I referenced, and while I was/am very happy with that trade, I figured it would be a tad extreme to even slightly compare him to 2 guys bouncing around the league (and possibly done).

What is Brooks up to these days anyway? He had one big play game and then just sort of poofed from the radar. Still better value than what Dex is giving Philly though (not that it matters much to them right now)

The Sheldon trade is better then excellent.  He traded a player who is a FA, had league disciplinary issues, and currently has 20 tackles and 1 sack, for a 2nd round pick and a 27 year old WR who is under contract and playing extremely well.  That is extremely good value.

Drafted in the 3rd round and soon to be out of football.

Sounds like you’re referring to Hack, except he’s a 2nd rounder.
