Will the Jets average 10 points per game?

Last team to average under 10 was the 1992 Seahawks. It would be incredibly impressive considering the current era favors points, but after watching McCown against the lowly Bills today and knowing what's waiting on the bench to replace him, I think we have a shot. At the very least we can eek into the top ten ever, which go:

  1 1977 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-12-0 7.4
  2 1974 Atlanta Falcons 3-11-0 7.9
  3 1992 Seattle Seahawks 2-14-0 8.8
  4 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-14-0 8.9
  4 1991 Indianapolis Colts 1-15-0 8.9
  6 1977 Green Bay Packers 4-10-0 9.6
  7 1998 Philadelphia Eagles 3-13-0 10.1
  7 2000 Cleveland Browns 3-13-0 10.1
  9 1972 Philadelphia Eagles 2-11-1 10.4
 10 2006 Oakland Raiders 2-14-0 10.5

Worth noting that the '09 Rams averaged under 11, so this isn't as out of the question as it would seem. Either way I think this squad can make a push for history and that gives me something to look forward to every week.

We have to start missing these 48 and 52 yard FGs

this was just week 1 and other  than Enunwa have a pretty healthy offense.   Wait until a couple of OL go down with injuries and the season ends with Hackenburg throwing to Clyde Gates.   The best thing this team has going for it is that the defense also looks bad which should create some lopsided scores where the Jets can put up a few garbage time points to avoid the record.

Defense played pretty well to me. Only 21 points allowed. And that was with a bad offense

We scored 12. We'll be just fine. Well, unless Hack takes over. I say we average about 15 a game when it's all said n done.
