Here we are for the new season of our New York Knickerbockers!!!

Opening Night is 2 days way.  Post to this new thread for the upcoming season.

I'm most exited for KP's and Ntilikina's development.  Prediction wise,  I thought the Knicks could get the 4th seed.  Man, was I wrong.  This year, I think they're a lottery team between the 3rd and 8th worst records. Their defense is so bad that even if they put up a lot of points, they'll give up a ton more.

BTW, someone broke ESPN's NBA Trade Machine with a Bucks-Knicks trade.  Look at the projected win improvement.  Try it yourself, it comes up the same.

Huh?  Monroe sucks how is he helping any team win games?  Most have a virus

Expected the Knicks to get blown out tonight but what is up with Hornacek’s love affair with Kanter?

Hernangomez apparently looked like garbage in the preseason. It doesnt exactly look like he's been on a weight program either.

Then start O’Quinn and have Hernangomez come off the bench.  Kanter is HORRIBLE shouldn’t even be in the rotation let alone starting.  Knicks had a clear edge on the boards anytime O’Quinn was subbing for Kanter

KP looks strong late in games, which is a good sign for him for the rest of the season.

They just need to get Ntilikina healthy and in the gym to build up his body.

BTW, did you guys see that Dennis Smith Jr. has missed the last 2 games because his ACL knee swelled up after only playing 1 game.  That's a major red flag for a 19 yr old.  Healthy, he'd have been the pick for Knicks IMO, but his agent did't let the Knicks get the medical records on his knee.

The irony here is that while Ntilikina has missed time, so has Smith and Mitchell and Monk have had poor outings thus far.  Another reason why we can't pass early judgments on guards.

BTW, OKC is 1-2 with Melo leading the team in shots and scoring.  Just sayin'

Suns in a pickle over Bledsoe.  Multiple reports about teams that called Suns saying the Suns asking price is crazy.

Willy isn't in dog house.  Kanter and O'Quinn are simply outplaying him.  The 3 top PERs on the team (all over 24 PER) are KP, Kanter and O'Quinn.  This raises O'Quinn's value and he'll be traded to make room for Willy, but Willy has to up his D.  Kanter isn't good at D, but he is currently a better version of Willy.

It is way too early to make judgments on any of these players.  Unlike the nfl where players are 21-23 when they are rookies these nba rookies are only 19.  I hear people trashing Lonzo Ball already I mean wtf

Kanter, thus far, is 14.3 ppg and 12 rpg with a 26.36 PER.  He's been their best center.  Willy should, of course, be getting more minutes.
