The Jets lost to the rival Patriots this weekend, with a freak call reversal of what looked like a legitimate TD by born-again TE, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, still making fans scratch their heads. Despite the loss, the Jets are showing that tanking the season is not in their mind-set at all this year. Guys like Damario Davis (53 tackles thru 6 games) and Jeremy Kerley (19 catches on 19 targets) are just two of the players stepping up on both sides of the ball.

Should Josh Rosen actually fall this far come Draft Day, you can't help but feel there will be a frenzy of activity from QB-needy teams looking to trade up ahead of the Jets. Rosen looks like a Top QB prospect so far this year, and It feels unlikely that he will make it this far. For now though, the Jets look to have found their QB of the future without having to tank their way to the 1st-overall pick.

I'd probably even trade up further if I saw him fall just to make sure.

I don't like the Jets drafting Hack's backup with a top ten pick.

Keep Petty and draft a pass rusher.

Woody will never draft Josh Rosen who talk sh*t about Woody's boss in the white house every week

maybe that is Rosen's plan.....pretty smart one if it is.

Remember last April when people were debating whether the Jets should take Trubisky at 6, and many posters thought it was not worth it?  And Adams was projected at 2 or 3?  The Bears traded up to 2 for Trubisky.  Rosen can play QB.  He will go top 1-3.

Might as well keep McCown ... he's cheaper and battle-tested.

Both have decent arms and accuracy but very spotty pocket awareness - the other important ceiling definer.

You can't teach pocket awareness. Your brain~eyes are either wired for it or not. Petty is the same deal.

Darnold is going #1 and should. We gain nothing talent-wise from Rosen. He isn't worth a high Jets pick.
