Then they didn't let it heal all they way, he altered his motion due to the foot discomfort and ruined his shoulder. That injury probably cost him over 50 million easy, he was a really good pitcher, in fact he was 54-20 and entering the prime of his career. There is so much young help on the way. I love German as well. His stuff is excellent, he works fast. But multiple trips to the DL with back injuries, that's only going to get worse. If it's a 3-4 year deal, sure, but he's going to want 6-8 years. Sanchez and Stanton with big clutch home runs. I love German. He's not an ace right now by any stretch, but his stuff is really good, he's pitching very well for a rookie, and he's the opposite of Gray, he works fast. Yankees drafted him in the 6th round out of Mississippi State in 2014. Funny he was in the same MSU bullpen as Jacob Lindgren who the Yankees also drafted in 2014, but in the 2nd round.
