He's getting overshadowed by the fact that ASJ has been playing pretty well but man, it's looking more and more like Leggett is going to miss his whole rookie season.  Would've been nice knowing what we have in the guy before making a decision on ASJ.

I think there is no decision on ASJ, they need him. Sucks on Leggett though.

There is no decision.

ASJ is playing great for us, and we have a ton of cap space.  Even if Leggett goes on to be a pro-bowler, it would be nice to have a duel-tight end threat in a west-coast offense.

Agreed their shouoldn't be a decision but the guy is coming off some major legal issues and while it seems like he's gotten his life together you still have to be cautious about long term deals with a guy like that.  Having a good rookie TE would've at least given us some leverage/a backup plan just in case another team blew us out of the water.

Leggett is really talented.  So is ASJ.  ASJ has 3 (should be 4) TDs in five games.  Imagine his numbers with a guy like Tom Brady throwing to him.  The Jets went from having a bunch of bums at TE to having two really talented young TEs.  It'd be good to see them on the field together.

Neal Sterling added to that group re-signed from the Chief's practice squad, kid is going to be a good player for us.

Amazing how these guys play football their whole lives, play college ball, we draft him & he can't get on the field. Sucks losing an entire year & not have an inkling if the guy can be an NFL player, plus he's like a rookie AGAIN next year.
