did you hear Todd post game?  a reporter asked that  and he trashed the young QBs.  Said he saw them pre season. Josh is his QB.  For a guy who never says anything, that was something. He essentiallyadmitted that this season has no purpose.

Cant understand how any Jets fan can support Todd Bowles.

Not surprising that Bowles said what he said.

As we've said from the start, we can hope to see Petty or Hack, but it isn't going to happen until the Jets are mathematically eliminated, if even then.

I'm not going to presume Bowles motivation, it could be his job, it could just be who he is as a Coach, or it really could be that the two kids simply suck and everyone in the building know it already.

I still believe we'll see Petty, or more likely Hack, after the Jets lose their 8th game.  Not a second before then.

The best outcome for the "want to see Hack" fans is the Jets lose the next three, a realistic outcome no matter how much the Jets try to win.

At 3-8, Bowles hand may be forced by ownership.  It SHOULD be being forced by the GM, but out screwed up org. chart takes that power away from Macc.  It's why the Head Coach should never, ever, work for the owner.  He must always work for, at the pleasure of, the GM.  Exception:  The Parcells/Bellichek types who get both jobs.

So, it is what it is.  No point being mad, it won't change it.  Lets just hope we get some kind of Hack time late this year, because at the least it'll make those games semi-worth watching in a year that, even now, has lost most of it's purpose or reason to tune in.

We need an evaluation process of all our QB's McCown has had his chances time for Petty and then Hackenberg if needed we ned to do this going  into the off-season, it needs to happen.

Yeah he should have said "they still suck in practice".

You don't replace a guy playing well with someone you don't believe is any good no matter how loud irrational Jet fan guy screams.  We will see Petty later when all hope is lost..  or we won't..

yeah?? well here's something even more ass backward then that..

starting the guy who came in 2nd in an "open" 3 man QB competition..

unless of course, the guy judging the competition is full of ****..

Bowles is such a stubborn moron.  He is going to ride the McCown train all the way to the unemployment line.  He actually has a better chance of saving his job if he coaches up a very green Petty or Hackenberg the second half of the year. He has literally put himself in a situation where every meaningless victory he gets with McCown is hurting his chances to keep his job IMO.

true, and it's better that he doesn't understand this.  he sees his tenure with the jets solely dependent on wins/losses this season, it's a very myopic view for an organization that is about to draft a new qb and has had no offensive identity in over a decade.  all he is demonstrating is that he should not be a part of the real rebuild, when they (hopefully) address the OL, draft a qb in the first round and actually play him from the start of the season.

Why would any jet fan want to see hack play he was handed job & wound up inactive as 3rd string qb. Petty gets 1st shot but I'm guessing moron coach will play McCown all season another yr not knowing if 2 young qb's can play
