Tried throwing and couldn’t do it. Tried running and couldn’t do it. Never seemed to get ASJ involved. 2. Worries that McCown is going to get an extension? Not anymore. 3. Defense played really well until they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter. Young guys continuing to play hard and well. 4. Fans and media will push for a QB change against Carolina. See if Bowles will succumb to the pressure. Whatever he says in the presser afterwards means nothing with the Bye coming up. 5. Probably a good result in the long run. We’re not going to have delusions of grandeur about this team. But, the defense played hard, was literally on the field all day, how many 3 & outs did the offense have? I called it a turning point game regarding the 2nd half after the bye & they blew it. So now I'm all for losing & totally refuse to watch the games if Petty or Hack don't get to play. McCown makes no sense after losing to the worst team left on your schedule.
