The things that play in the Jets favor in this regard are

1. Their schedule is very hard and doesn't seem to allow for many wins.

2. This draft is not just about Darnold and Rosen. There are many other QBs. So the choices will be there.

3. Josh McCown and Bryce Petty IMO have the same chance of winning games as losing games, so opting for the young QB to start is basically delaying the inevitable

Agreed, I will say the Jets will be selecting a QB next off season, with their first pick.

There isn't anyone dumb enough not even at 1 Jets drive. It's more likly to be Allen or Mayfield.

Rosen and Darnold are gone. We won't be Winning many more games, maybe 1 at best.? - Four Wins should get us in the top 6 kinda range. The trade up options depends on if Kirk leaves Washington?

Let’s just call it like it is. “Tanking” is not a real thing. It’s a term made up by couch potatoes fans with sticky Cheeto fingers. Pro athletes and coaches go out to win every game, you can’t blame Bowles for doing his job, which is trying to win games. The inept tank crowd also seems to forget as Cimini points out we have been playing the “kids” all year. Yes not at qb but look around the field and see who he has played. Yes we have forte but McGuire is getting touches etc. Petty got an audition last year and was awful. Hackenberg must be a whole new level of bad at practice if he doesn’t see the field again. I don’t know the right answer at qb right now but this team has a mission, to win games, and everything else will work out. Stop living in a fantasy world where tanking is a thing

Especially looking at the QBs this year.

The 49ers were trying to not play Garropollo and only did so when forced to after Beathard's injury.  The 49ers are now 3-0 with Garropollo.  "I wonder why they didn't want to play him this year though".  Could it "possibly" have been because they wanted to tank and trade the pick for a huge return?
