BCJet Posted November 21, 2017 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Falcons waived CB Jalen Collins. (rotoworld) Collins was set to be activated from a 10-game PED ban, his second steroid suspension. Instead, the Falcons are moving on from the No. 42 overall pick of the 2015 draft. Still only 24, Collins played well down the stretch in 2016. He'll presumably clear waivers to teams don't have to pick up his contract, but he will undoubtedly get a second (third?) chance. Given our cap space and lack of CBs, Collins would be a great waiver claim as he is signed next year for $1.1 million with only $500K guaranteed. Former 2015 2nd round pick. A hall of fame QB makes you a brilliant Gm who will never be questioned on any moves. Most other teams/GMs in the league. You traded two picks for a guy you cut half way through the year! Morons!
