We have a qb throwing for 300 yards and 3 tds against a great defense and we want to bench him.  Hahahaha.

I for one don’t want him benched I want him signed to a three year deal and then SB all the way!!

Lets face it no rookie will have the smarts as McCown that is why they are called Rookies.  I say keep em on the bench and let McCwon work his magic!

Should have actually been 5 TD's with ASJ dropping one and being robbed of another. Hack won't have 5 completions because he is that bad.

So a few thoughts on this.

1) Over the course of the first half and even into the 2nd, I was grudgingly impressed with McCown.  If ASJ doesn't drop that early TD, it's a different game.  Pass was perfect.  If the refs don't steal a TD from the Jets later in the game, we probably win as well.  McCown was making good passes.

2) Then at the end, McCown reminded me why he is a dead end.  That last drive, Bowles didn't think it worth trying a long pass so we dumped off until the buzzer.  I'm sorry, but if that's what you think of your QB, then move on and don't look back.  If we're really lucky, we send Bowles out the door with him.  That was embarrassing.

So with McCown you have that guy who plays well for 3 quarters, but can't close out the win or bring us back from behind.  Just good enough to lose respectably.  No thanks.  I'll take my chances with Petty from here.

Todd Bowles' Pussyball in all it's glory.

"Have made progress - except at quarterback where Bowles refuses to get Hackenberg or Bryce Petty any laying time." Either the Daily  News editor fell down on the job or Gary Myers wants Hackenberg and Petty to get lucky soon, And Bowles is not only  lousy HC but a cock blocker as well.

Right, can’t let him let us win more games ha. He is auditioning for a better contract next yr. Bowles is trying to win to save his own asss. We aren’t making the playoffs. Let’s audition petty to see if he can even handle being a #2, or who knows if more. If not we get in a better spot

It's getting close.

It kinda stinks the Jets play 2 tough road games in a row after next week

Otherwise I would be on board with this

It probably makes more sense to put the kids in vs the chargers and then cheaters probably have nothing to play for and rest everybody

My point all along...McCown is Fitz 2.0.

He ain't played bad, he just ain't the answer either.

Nah its all good I'm not here to argue with anyone, I have issues copy and pasting longer articles here especially ones that contain videos and pictures my system goes nuts, I had my son and daughter check things out and they blame me. So be it.

How did the RV run after the repairs?

The RV ran much better than the Jets did. Had a great tailgate today, thanks.
