Just looking at that one play, I can imagine how frustrating it is to play the Panthers. Theres about 3 different directions you have to defend on most plays.

There was a play that Cam ran the read option, got close to the line of scrimmage and faked like he was going to pass. I thought the Jets were playing Navy!

Yeah.  Newton is scary because he is so big.  You want to attack and lay into the QB every chance you get, but they didn't seem to want to do that.  Probably has something to do with him having 40 lbs on some of those guys.

They toyed with the Pats defense in Gillette. Had them out of position many, many times with fakes and Cam got easy running 1st downs, plus easy completions to Funchess boxing out. With McCaffrey moving around it's a tough offense to defend.

I think the Jets lay some wood to Alex Smith on Sunday.

you're pointing out that the announcers were wrong when they said that Adams blew his gap assignment, right?

Adams was in man coverage on Dickson. When Dickson motioned Adams moved with him. Adams thought Dickson was trying to leak out under the formation. Even if Dickson stayed Adams would be a force player. Still no reason for both middle backers to be cheating towards Cam. So it wasn’t all on Adams at all.
