Warfish
The number is two, and it's held by the only team that plays in New York State.

johnnyjet
Because we want the Jets in queens. but, the 49ers play in Santa Clara, the cowboys play in Arlington, the raiders play wherever they want. Who really cares.

Everyone understands that it "represents" New York City. Even though the team does not, in fact, play IN New York City at all. Don't get pissy with me that the New Jersey Jets play in New Jersey watched by a materially large New jersey fanbase. Wasn't up to me, if it had been they'd be playing in a Stadium in Nassau County New York. Same bitching happens down here over the Maryland Oppressed Indigenous Peoples team. They may "represent" D.C., but they play their games in a huge, characterless, poorly designed sh*thole in southern Maryland. Everyone wants them to play IN D.C. (except for selfish Maryland-based fans) but nope, they're the Maryland-based NFL team.
